Thank you, dudette. It's never fun to think about sharks during that time...controversial subject mater, as to whether it actually attracts them.

 

Nahhhh Flo you're good, that's myth.

 

I haven't done any recent research upon the matter, myself, but I am under the impression it is still controversial. Interesting subject matter, all the same. I personally have never been one to feel like doing much during that time period, other than be a beach bunny, soaking up the sun's rays (always helps, big-time), as well as a hot tub or moist heating pad on the lower back area.

I have mused the idea further, SS, and I do believe a shark may possibly be attracted to me, if I were menstruating, but I do not believe it would necessarily attack me, for that simple reason. I believe a shark may possibly do so, if it were to mistake for something else, but sharks are pretty darn smart, imho. Granted, one might be attracted to me, for said reason, and then decide to take a bite, simply because I am tiny (easy prey), but thankfully, one has yet to do so.

 

Even if you have the surgery you won't actually menstruate... so if you decide to take up surfing one day you'all be safe

 

I did not know Austin went on vacation. I hope he has a splendid time, and maybe even decides to go surfing.

Anyway, I have decided to share one of my many shark stories. This one occurred, while I was actually out of the water. It was a very long time ago, and so I can no longer even recall which beach; it was either Daytona or Jacksonville, and I am pretty sure it was Jacksonville.

It was very late in the afternoon, and the sun was setting. Hardly anyone was on the beach, with the exception of one or two small sets of locals, along with myself. Regardless, the beach had lifeguards, and they were all gone for the day, having pulled the chairs up for high tide.

I was sitting in one of the chairs, simply relaxing, watching one lone surfer in the water. Nobody else was in the water, and he was paddling parallel to shore, heading south. I then spotted a fin behind him, perhaps 75', and I simply kept staring, hoping I would see the anticipated curve downward, but I did not.

The fin was stalking him, and the fin was huge. I kept watching it, and the guy kept paddling, completely oblivious to it. I recall my heartbeat instantly began thumping, but I remained calm. I did not wish to be an idiot and scream shark, if I was mistaken. I quickly looked at those two sets of people on the beach, only a few within each, and they were not paying any attention; so, I knew it was up to me.

I looked one more time, and the fin was still above water. I jumped up into the chair and began screaming shark, as loudly as I could do so, waving my arms back and forth, trying to get the guy's attention. Like a sneaky little demon, the shark had decided to take a dive, right as I began screaming...figures.

The guy heard me, as did everyone else. He turned back to look, saw nothing, and began to paddle once again. I glanced at everyone on the beach again, and they simply kept staring at the guy, when the shark's fin appeared once again. It was probably 50' feet behind the guy, by that point.

I started screaming and waving my arms again, as did everyone else. That is when the guy looked back again, and he saw it. He wasn't far from shore, thankfully, and he came on in, but that shark was certainly on a mission.

 

Depends how you look in a whettesuite. Some people get bit just out of disgust. On being tiny tho - sharks usually go for the fat ones, so don't be the fat one.

 

I edited some of my typographical and grammatical errors, but I did not bother to substitute other words, for how many times I typed the word, "again", because I am feeling rather lazy today.

I don't like how I look in my shortie, at all, because it is a boy's, but I am somewhat okay with my full suit; although, I hate both of them, preferring my bikini. I do love how I look in my dry suit, though, which is seriously wetauded!

I wish I would have filmed the first time I tried it on, because nobody was around, and it turned into one serious ordeal, while trying to get back out of it, LOL. I tried it on, as soon as it arrived, just to see if it came even close to fitting me. I managed to get it on with no issues, but I ended up on all fours, with one of my cats weaving in and out below me, as I tried to pry myself out of it, and I was laughing my lil butt off, the entire time. It was even funnier, the first time I actually put it on in Cali, but I will save that story for another time.

Heavy, possibly yes, but nothing looks slo to me about that flo. It looks fairly healthy, with no blackish blood clots or tissue strands. The most promising aspect, no sharks.

 

I did not hear it from anyone, 'twas, as previously stated, simply my humble opinion. I have heard quite a bit about this program, but I have never watched it, nor visited the website; however, it does look interesting:

You supposed incorrectly, but that is okay. Many scientists within my family would be the first to tell you that hypothesis and theories frequently change; furthermore, the same holds true with many established "facts".
