Today is exactly two years since Peajay started his legendary surfing tread. It has over 4600 posts and over a third of million views. It really captures the spirit of this place when it's at its best. Thank you Peajay. Has anyone heard how he is doing.
Sending good vibes peajays way. Hadn't seen him in awhile. Although i think i know where to find him when there's waves, iv just been hitting diffrent spots. Gotta agree with WBF. Dude has style. SB or LB, it don't matter. Last time i saw him out he pulled off this huge off the lip that left my chin in the sand. Great surfer and a class act all around
Well then, happy treade anniversary! I have a habit of not posting my surfing exploits but I do enjoy reading some of the posts. One in particular sticks in my mind posted by Trevolution a while back. You could feel the stoke as it jumped out of my PC; the best one I ever read. I'll have to go back and try to find it sometime. I guess a "thanks peajay" is in order here, for a solid treade
Thanks for being a friend Peajay. I wish you would come back. But even if you don't you have left a solid legacy in that tread. Peace.
Peajay abandoned you all, so stop commemorating him. He thinks you all suck and so do I. Otherwise, he would still be here, unless he has a lymphoma or something.......
i think he left and said will be back when the politics are over. guess that's 4 yrs from now, since it's always a headliner in the paper
Peajay, if you're on here (never know with all the new screen names), we / I miss your posts man, especially the surfing stories, some of the best on here. Hope to see you back in the lineup soon dude.
What's Happening? Checked the forecast and saw my name down by the forum. Who wouldn't read a thread about them? And to not respond to such kind words feels wrong. Thank you Betty. You are awesome in every sense of the word. And thank you to you sirs who share the stoke. You know who you are. I'm doing good. And you know I've been surfing. Surfed on Saturday on thigh high glassy beauties as the snow started to fall. Real peaceful. Very similar to the day that sparked the who's been surfing thread. Funny that it was the anniversary. For the record I stopped visiting the forum around mid august when I turned off all electronics for a brief mountain retreat. Before disconnecting I found the rhetoric on the forum displeasing and it had become a place I disliked to visit but was drawn to it anyway. When I returned I found it easy to just not go back. Before posting this, I skimmed through a few threads and to be honest it still isn't a place I chose to visit. Quite frankly the forum and a majority of the more active members went down a path that I'm choosing not to follow. I don't think I'm alone in that thought. Not saying things need to change you understand. You be you. It will come off weird and nerdy but it wasn't easy to stop posting to be honest. I had fun here and learned a bunch. I feel I've gotten to know some you guys enough to be real life friends and to the people I've met we have done just that. I now a lot more about the boards we ride. For something I spend a lot of time on I never really gave much thought to board design before. With that I'll say thanks again and sign off. Here's to the surfers, PJ
Good to hear from ya bud. Sorry to hear this isn't a place you'll be visiting often, hope you find the good in this place once again. It's still there if you look hard enough. I recommend the shopping cart method, as I've stated before. Click the threads that interest you and ignore the rest. My .02, peace and waves brother.
Great to hear from you Peajay. Sure miss your wonderful stories. You seem to embody the aloha spirit for sure.
Mahalo brother! Hope to see you in the water some day. Too busy surfing and working to post much lately, but miss ya'll crazy bastids too. And the trolling is always in good fun, no worries, be happy, you too Barry you crusty dusty seaweed. Surfs up!
