That is so peculiar, but because of this message board, extremely humorous to me, personally, as well as a few others registered for it.
I admire their technical skill and ability to harness wind and wave. I am a simple MAN and just prefer to paddle in on my belly on the board, drop down the wave as I stand up, and see what happens.
That was extremely well expressed, in my humble opinion, dear MAN. As a WOman, I have always preferred to cross-train with different athletic venues, beginning with dance and progressing out from there, with focus upon water and a particular passion for surf. I easily bore, but never with surf.
yOU DON'T SURF NOR KITE, ASSHAT, SO WTF ARE YOU POSTING MORE OF YOU FANTASY CAMP LIES FOR. stfu, MISS PIGGY & GO TRY TO FIND YOUR AMPUTATED TITS.

as a surfer and a kiter , i think the both complement each other so well . As an instructor , surfers are the easiest ones to teach ,wake boarders are tough to teach but Windsurfers are the toughest ones to teach . Most surfers board skills are all ready there , same with their swimming abilities , just need to dial the kite in . Then its up to u as the individual to put the time in , just like surfing . i have found ways to bring out my students insecurities of being out in the water alone . Try to see where they crack under pressure , then work on that area to build up the skills they need . And from my experience i have seen kiters and surfers go out when its out of their league and return with a doggy paddle . In any water sport , swimming is the key element of survival . If you can't swim don't try it . As for kiters , the number one rule don't go out further then you want to swim in . Both are a lifestyles , not just hobbies , time is needed to progress .
Right on dude. Much better attitude than the other c0ck. Sounds like fun once you get used to all the equipment.
We've seen bodyboarders charging hard in this pit, but kites are rare in overwhelming days. The truth is that Tamatoa Gillot decided to ride with helping hand of the wind. After completing his ride, the kiteboarder left his kite at "The End of the Road". As Raimana Van Bastolaer approached like a bullet, drama sets its camp in the Teahupoo mountains. The experienced Raimana is not able to jump over the kite and collision takes place. The picture speaks for itself like a proverb. Are surfers and kiteboarders the eternal adversaries? Fortunately, Raimana Van Bastolaer came out fine and injury-free from the trap set by Tamatoa Gillot. Conclusion: never lose a kite at "The End of the Road". http://www.surfertoday.com/kiteboarding/8881-lost-kite-sets-a-surfer-trap-in-teahupoo
Well said. My kite control skills leave a bit to be desired, but the outline of the board makes riding easier than I could have imagined. I definitely prefer surfing (mind you, been doing that for 30 years vs. 1 of kiting with minimal instruction as far from anyone I could hurt as humanly possible), but I think that kiteboarding is one of the more fun non-surfing activities I've come across that doesn't require a boat.
Now, with that, you are straiten to even annoy me, Mr Patience....... We should be shooting kite boarders and surfers that do "airs".......both suck.
your a lazy twat.... Most people will never get into kiting for a few reasons, its dangerous, its expensive and its hard to learn. That is what makes it different than surfing and keeps the people who aren't totally into it out (kooks). For these reasons it will never be as popular or as mainstream as surfing. Kiting takes at very least 2-3 professional lessons + 2 weeks of practice before you are able to safely(relative) kite without supervision. I've been kiting for about 5 1/2 years and love it. That being said I have been put into some really dangerous positions and situations. When stuff goes bad kiting, it goes really bad and you are on your own and responsible for getting yourself out of the situation. The best things about kiting are the consistency, freedom and exploration. The past 5 days we have had SW wind 15-25 every day, in those past 5 days its been knee high or less. Hurricane swells cause a new reason for excitement, that day before the cleanup day is going to be all time kiting conditions. Your water time will triple, everyday if you add SUPing, you will be fit and ready to surf when we do get real waves. You will explore and travel all over your island/spot and surf new sandbars and inlets that you never would have looked at if you just surfed. A few weeks ago me and a few friends did a 22 mile downwinder from folly beach to sullivans island. We crossed inlets and harbors that would be inaccessible and dangerous with even a boat. This is the reason I kite and will continue to kite. The risk for the reward is great but its worth it when it all works out and no one gets hurt. check it out http://youtu.be/2YngZbU7GDs?list=UUD...odMBdkeuW3qUBg
