Wildos was off the hook 2day. DOH reeling down the point light winds till 2.

Haven't surfed enough of em to pick one.
G-Land tops it for me.

 

How would you rate Wildos vs. Tres on a perfect day at both spots?

Never surfed Tres.
But the way that long period wraps onto Wildos point with rides into 100's of yards.......... It's truly a sight to behold.

 

True... It does break more like a point with some swells. Not a really barreling wave, but fast and long.

Tres even on a solid 8' day, with the right angle, is totally ripable.

1974, sophmore in high school, skipped skool with Slim, Quinn the Eskimo, and Jamie, went to Air Force Beach - now known as MacArthur's State Park - on the north end of Singer Island to smoke hash and see nekid girls.
So we are sitting on a felled tree on the beach, passing the pipe, and two nekid ladies and one hairy ass Ron Jeremy looking dude and a big black dog come walking by, and one gal comes u to us and asks for a hit,and she has a frog tattoo jumping out of her meow meow,and she looked just like Patty Hurst, and she was on the lamb at the time, with the SLA. Who know? The funny thing was the dog kept going for the guys ding dong, like it was a pull toy, and he had to block him and keep one hand over his junk most of the time. We all busted out laughing, he got pissed and then they all left. We got busted later that day,my Dad had to come pick me up in the wood way out west the PBSO found weed on us. Just another random story on a Friday afternoon.
