Well, that's it for me comrades. Putting in a goodby post thanks to a certain someone. I can cope with a lot of bullsh!t and personalities and tolerate trolls with ease (hell im one meself) but when certain someone comes on here and asks "what happened to this forum" its like a knife in me heart when I smell a snitch. So, certain someone, you can stop thumbing your nose. You have not conquered anything special. It's just a god dammed forum with REAL people with REAL lives you cannot control and it means NOTHING to anyone. Most that have made this place are gone, moved on, passed the nonsense that this place has become. I'm doing this to make a stand and I urge all to do the same. I'll be lurking for laughs from time to time but I will not post until this persecution stops. Boycott this forum and let's see what becomes of it. Best of waves to you all! IM OUT! Without posting a goodbye thread i have basically been doing the same thing brother. I hardly post. Theres no reason. No threads. No life. Just a certain someone over moderating. I still think he chased everyone away so he could do less work. How have the people in charge not politely realized that it isnt working, hasnt worked, amd is not going to work? almost everyone is gone... Tell me again how this is helping anyone?

Call it a hiatus, but you, Seldom Seen of all deserve an answer. Maybe because you are the only one to invite me for a pizza, or because your dog looks so happy (that says a lot about people). Not sure I have a sufficiant answer but here goes nothing; then I'll leave you's all to ponder and persecute my response....its welcomed! There are many surf sites out there with more professional formats than this but I still chose SI because of its people on the forum. This is the reason I signed on. It had people with like minds and interests that we all shared, regardless of our differences. Being a "surfer" for 40 years, I see differences in another light. SI and its administrators are not directly to blame nor should they be held accountable for these differences. They should however, recognize the people that are using the format for their own self interests. These people are no better than the Mansons or the Jones'. As far as the groms and newbs go, yes, there is a big bad world out there,; deal with it. It only gets bigger and badder when more of your freedoms are taken from you. Say, this is my own personal protest against "the man", "the kooks"...whatever. I don't need this site to find a wave. I know where to look. And when I need feedback there's more than enough to go around without selling out.
