I think he's great. The EPA is completely corrupted by political interests and no longer represents the best interest of the environment or the American people. It is made up of entrenched liberals who are blinded to reality by their fanaticism to the progressive religion. When a land owner is getting sued out of his family farm because he diverts a made made ditch 3 feet so his driveway can fit between 2 boulders there is a serious issue with priorities.

Well, it appears at face value from your Vice News link that Pruitt would be a bad choice for the position in the opinion of a particular demographic.

To put things into perspective, it would be prudent to remember that with every changing Presidential administration comes changes to every single Cabinet and bureaucratic position which befits the ideals of that particular administration.

In other words, one demographic will consider his appointment "bad", while another demographic might consider him a "good pick".

    Same as it ever was.

Can you provide a link to this story?

The EPA is one of the most pointless and wasteful organizations government entities going IMO.

I don't even like talking politics here, but don't get me started on this one.

Yeah , i don't know what to think yet . Just want to hear some opinions in between the reading up on this new cabinet member . All that info you have to go threw just to find simple facts that relate to weather he's qualified for the position . He knows he's sh@# , just trying to find out if its a good thing or bad . Guess we will see . Its nice to see some are in agreement that the epa should be giving an over haul . not dismantled but thats whats I'm feeling now . Shi# changes all the time . So why should some regulations stay , if they are obsolete .

Christ almighty, they clean up all the nasty oil spills that happen every 4 or 5 years, put filters on those big ass smokestacks, and they do clean up our waterways. The miracle on the Hudson would not have been a miracle during the seventies, all those passengers would have croaked from nasty bacterial exposure.
I don't care if they are overzealous. I like a clean lineup, clean beaches and ponds,ect.. We don't notice when they do their jobs but we will soon cause they obviously won't be.
    BTW, press conference? Anyone? Bueller?

The layers of bureaucracy stifle growth add to cost and invite corruption-
    This was an actual ad-

Strict controls need to be in place with strict penalties- Most of the red tape should be loosened
I like the idea "for every new amendment added two old ones need to be removed"
