ur first paragraph is pretty much my situation right now lol,just a routine.

I stopped plenty of times for jobs,stopped for 3 yrs for probation during the height of my youth lol,its just something I always go back to.im in a hard line of work as far as physical labor goes and I don't want to drink beer afterwork il just smoke

as far as being a gateway to other bad things,its really on the person.i smoked my entire life and never did dope,although it was around me from the time I was 10.iv seen other people go from bud to coke to crack and graduate at dope.everyones different,regardless your lungs would appreciate it if u didn't smoke anything

 

Pot is the least harmful drug on the planet. I always could get in a zone whilst stoned. Sorry if I ruffled feathers but I've surfed stoned a gazillion times with no bad effects. I was once one of the better shredders at my break but at last old age has taken it's toll. If you don't toke goode for you, just don't get all high and mighty. The worst peeps I've ever known don't smoke or drink! I haven't partaken in a yr. or so and see no difference. Gate way is drug is total BS. For me alcohol is the worst. To each his own.

Then that makes two of us. Could it be better?? Not by much, at least for what interests me.
I do need to order that new board soon though--that might make things a smidgeon better........Have gotten bored with a couple of boards I have, they need to go.

read it in the hardcover surfer mag book at b&n years ago,the one where its like 75yrs of surfer or some ****.its amazing the **** they put in there lol

like mike ho(northshore legend/mason/coco ho pops) and mp used to get "stoned" and rob everyone while theyr surfing their heats.actually break into ppl's cars and throw their sh1t in the water lol,its true except the last part

 

theres a lot of highly credited former pro surfers that burn on the reg.now its all mainstream and kids look up to the pros so they have to keep a clean image,but the guys who were thriving in the 70s,80s,and 90s were all inhaling the evil lettuce and probably doing a lot more.it just defeats the sterotype of stoners are lazy and such

 

Not smoking when its pumping the waves are a better high... anyone notice drugs have almost no effect after a good day of surfing. It's like my endorphins are already satisfied

 

its been a while but i got some gud herbz last night and it looks like we gonna gewt some waves today, ssw is less than ideal but we will see how it goes. gonna burn a presesh one this will be interesting for sure.
