Welp I forgot to dry out my wettie before leaving on a weeklong trip and boy oh boy does she reek. Smells like an aged Pecorino Romano left in the sun too long. Think a little Tide and a soak in a tub of cool water would do the trick?

I use the Oneill suit cleaner. But I am also nuts about cleaning my suit and drying it each time. Hope ya get that stank out!

I go to the Dollar Store and buy a bottle of Baby Shampoo and a bottle of mint mouthwash. Mix the 2 with a big tub of water in my utility sink and soak the suit.

I would take it down to the riverbank and beat the crap out of it on the rocks. Then put it in the drier on super high heat for like an hour or two. If there's anything left, it probably won't stank anymore.

lol actually the dryer works great. As kids, we would throw our suits in the dryer to avoid putting on a wet stinky suit. Thrashes your suit after awhile though. They get stinky because they never dry fully in some areas of the world. Summer is the only time my suits actually dry between sessions.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the stank. Just not the wetsuit kind, which is similar to Kim Kardashian at the tide line.

I'm going to try cleaning it in bunker oil first, then going for a sesh. I figure that's an easy way to get on disability.

There's another source less than an inch away.

And it's not stink, it's stank. Yuge difference.

Soaking in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water works on boots, so it should work on a suit.
Take care of your gear, and it will take care of you.

I always use the wetsuit shampoo they sell it on amazon or where ever.

After each surfing wetsuite season I soak and hand wash my suite. Really works well to take the stink away. If you read the label it says something about being formulated to take away stink and organic solutions like your BO and salt water

It also has a conditioner in it and makes your suite feel and smell like new again. That's mainly the reason I use it- my suite last longer and feels new- not all stiff and stinky
