I mean I honestly don't care. It doesn't affect me. So some Asian doctor got booted from a plane? Big whoop. I don't care. Unfair sh!t happens every day. Personally I don't feel the need to take a stance and get outraged when people oppose it, over whatever the "hot" item is in the news. You CAN just not have a stance on something. Plenty of people will take a stance on anything that is the flavor of the week just so they can argue. I guarantee few had any stance on plane overbookings before hand, but now suddenly everyone's either an expert, outraged, or both.
Agree^^^ coach people, all of them. The airline industry doesn't refer to coach as the village for no reason.
pinkerton police back in the day were worse. also greyhound stranded me overnight in arcata 2 hours from my destination in a rain storm and wont give me my money back. Lifes unfair homie should have walked if he has a problem with the plane nazis. United gave me a few free beers once, and has $230 board fees. he should have hid in the bathroom. mile high club ann franks diary status. f u c k ing dumbass
lol life isn't fair. I was getting tons of set waves, they were mine, then the after work crew showed up. boo hoo I dont have a stance other than this: using force is amoral. this was an amoral act Trevie, the airline ****ed up, people are selling shares, canceling credit cards and they lost nearly 1,000,000,000 $ in value. the free market is speaking and its saying: you should have offered more money. even giving the guy 100 million at this point would have been a 10:1 bargain btw, like my avatar?
no i 100% agree with you, in a free market capitalistic society the thing to do is to raise the price till the market bites. unfortunately fair business practices are a thing of the past. all companies do now a days is f u ck the consumer in the a ss. greyhound ripped me off, amazon sold me a ****ty charger for a laptop that almost fried it, oneil sold me booties that ripped in a few months and wont honor their warranty, same with patagucci. Avianca screws an entire region of the world daily etc. This is just another example of how we don't live in a free market capatilistic society, but in a economic socio political cluster f u ck run by the corporatist oligarchy that are never obligated to fulfill their end of the bargain to the consumer. the only reason why the free market is "correcting" the situation at this point is because the media latched on due to the p u ssy asian wailing on the smart phone. thats the exception, not the rule nowadays, despite how many sheep document every aspect of their shi tty lives with their smart phones in an attempt to be youtube stars. without media coverage this would have been just another long wait on hold to a call center in india for dr. Domo Orogato to get a potential refund for his ticket that probably would have never materialized. so be it, let it all burn. easier then to fix it at this point. Start over once 70% of the population is dead and the rest hasn't had power for half a decade.

From the training manual: Always encourage the client to constantly improve: Once the passenger has been subdued, a few good stomps to the skull will remind him to volunteer quicker (or is it more quickly?) in the future.
According to publicly available state licensing records reviewed by the Los Angeles Times, Dao has a history of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, for which he has received treatment. A 2011 psychological evaluation of Dao concluded that he "lacked the foundation to navigate difficult situations, both inter-personally and in a complex profession.” That evaluation also said Dao has struggled with “poor decision-making” and a “lack of awareness around his personality and relational issues.” The records said Dao had been previously cited by a hospital in the 2000s for “disruptive conduct” and was ordered to seek evaluation for “anger management” issues. In 2002, another doctor wrote that Dao sometimes “unilaterally chose to do his own thing.” But another psychological evaluation administered in 2013 concluded that Dao “emotionally was free of debilitating anxiety, depression, or psychological turmoil to the extent that it would affect his ability to function in activities of daily living or manage the practice of medicine.” Regulators cleared Dao to return to medical practice in 2015, in which he was initially restricted to working one day a week, supervised by another doctor.
One thing I cannot believe - why all of you are wasting so much "ink" on this totally irrelevant topic? Answer: only a bunch of morons. That is all of you. Morons.
I read a more salacious offering of this guy's past. Something about him giving some young guy a "physical" and inspected his junk, then offered him a job as his personal assistant. They continued the affair and during the while, the good Doctor was giving him a bunch of illegal script in return for the young man's "favors". Funny stuff and all, but he didn't deserve a beatdown for not giving up his seat. Sure, he might be sick and lurid and weird, but he still paid for the seat. I'm aware that we all sign agreements with the carrier, but resorting to unnecessary violence and escalating the situation was just plain DUMB. What should have cost them hundreds or maybe a grand or 2 will now cost them hundreds of thousands, if not millions. How is that good business?
Barry keeping his United Explorer Card in his back pocket. He earned those miles...and still has a thing against Vietnam
Completely UA's fault (security and management) in the way they handled the situation. Cost them a lot more than just a couple of delays and their competitors are piling on. I do not think anybody that flies regularly likes the Airline companies. I think we see them the way we see our cable/internet companies where we need them and understand their purpose and the service they offer, but secretly hate them because they monopolize the industry and rip customers off. So anytime they screw up and present the public with an opportunity to retaliate back at them, they are going to get raked over the coals.
This is some funny sheet , i would ve got off the plane ,guys in uniform with tazers, cmon im outa here.ill ***** later
