Take some aquaseal and make a stripe around the outside of the leg. Lay the leg flat, some tape and tape off the strip (if you need to know what they look like look at the seals on an oneill mutant or psycho) the aquaseal doesnt strech as well as the neoprene if you have done the back and it doesnt work you can go around the front just dont connect them and try not to let the seam be the stress point (aquaseal over the seams). here are pics of the one I did most recently.

Where do you get the aqua seal? Will it repair sealed seams on older wetsuits?
    thanks

So does adding the aquaseal on the bottom of the wetsuit arm/leg this just tighten up the suit to your arm/legs? Would your standard thick rubber bands do that job just as well? Just wondering.

When shopping for a new suit, I always look for some sort of rubber seal at the neck, ankle and wrists. I also find that the more "skin" you have on the outside your winter suits, the better they keep the cold water and the winds out. Nylon covered neoprene actually cools you off faster on the top of the board or on the beach. Skin-out acts as a wind barrier. Most new suits have some sort of slick skin turned in or a small cuff you can flip over, but the Aqua Seal is good advice, ChrisD!

Why haven't they thought of using velcro on the ankle and wrists? The hook side is on the out side of the gloves/booties. The soft side is on the inside of the wrists/ankles so it won't irritate if you aren't wearing gloves/booties. I'm a ****ing genius.

    Yep

And it's a great way to immediately void any warranty.

This was more a trick for the if the warranty no longer applied. Or if you got a closeout suit that was 3 years old like the one I did this on. like 70 bucks. but other than the no seals at the ankles. it was a very flexible nice suit a 3/2 to get me through to mutant weather.
