    This guy really is a wealth of shaping knowledge. LB I took your class a few years back and gained the knowledge to make a simple tri-fin thruster. What I learned was shaping is hard if you don't have a good plan, and glassing was even harder even with a plan. The board rode OK but the glass job left a lot to be desired. I will give it a go again one day but currently I have no where to shape but the front lawn. Viewing this thread is like a flashback to your class.

    Took a while, but finally done. Trying to dial in a traditional longboard shape that still noserides like a log, but works better in beachbreak waves. Not an easy task... Added more tail rocker and more roll in the aft third. Deep nose concave. Old school through-the-board leash loop.
