sup homies. i no longer have health insurance because the federal government doesn't give insurance to its wildland fire personnel for some reason. Looking for some solid advice for people who actually like their health insurance company.
im poor as sh it so im hoping for a plan with low monthly premiums and a low deductable, but preferably just a low deductable cause my old one was $5000 before i got ANY money out of the health insurance company for random ****.

waiting on a bi-opsy result for to see if i got the cancer or whatever from swimming in the irradiated ocean water up here in the PNW but if it comes back negative i should have no prexisting conditions non smoker, young healthy etc. If i do ill be out to indo anyway to go die or whatever so i wont need insurance anyway.

    thanks homies

no one likes their insurance, its not the 90's now its a complete rip off

eat healthy, don't smoke, and take up knitting, it still wont matter cause feggots will want to charge you bigly premiums to pay for poor @sshole fat fux who eat McDonalds and smoke....MURRICA!!!

so two schools of though: to pay as little money as possible (good call for younger guy) or actually get covered (if you had a family I would suggest this)

if you want to be covered and are looking to jump through loopholes the best thing you can do is find a state that will allow you to have a low premium with hi deductibles, pretend to set up residency there and then dont get hurt cause your deductible will bankrupt you.

next best thing: dont pay and just pay the 'fine' to the IRS and dont get hurt cause it will bankrupt you. Also if you get hurt on the job in this case you might be able to get some bigly money from Uncle Sugar

    1) hopefully obamama car gets SCRAPPED AND SOON!!!!and you can set up health care savings account (whatever you dont use in a given year gets rolled into an investment vehicle)
    2) poor stupid people who make bad choices die
    3) the risk pool becomes more tolerable and rates go down as all the stupid fat fux have died

its shame responsible people foot the bill for irresponsible people, its like consequences have no actions these days. fkn crazy times

If you're young and fit and not likely to use your insurance, then I'd go for low premium/high deductible plan. Why pay high premiums for insurance you're not likely to use? If you do get seriously ill or injured, your max out of pocket for *any* plan you get will be $6,800 (not including premiums), and that is the unlikely worst case scenario. $6,800 is a lot to pay, but it won't likely break you financially if you had a serious accident/illness which could easily run you $200,000+. Health insurance today is really just major medical insurance - you pay for the small stuff, and insurance covers the crippling medical disasters. But then this may all change, so who knows.

I won't advise you on what to get, but I highly advise you get on some form of health insurance. And get on it asap. When I broke my leg and was med evaced to the hospital, had operation, and was an inpatient for 5 days the total bill was around $100,000. With my insurance I paid about $350 out of pocket. I've been under several different forms of PPO plans via Blue Cross Blue Shield, all of which have been great for me.

Three words. TrumpCare. Take it from me folks. It's the best and it just gets better all the time. Everybody is covered and no pre-existing conditions. I never knew it could be so complicated but it really is so very very good. We even had a party in the Rose Garden over it it's so really good. Everybody is saying it is really very very good. The best. Believe me. Bigly.

First, turn gay. Then take it up the ass and get AIDS.
Then go to medicaid in your state and tell them how mean the world is.

Low premium, high deductible with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Nothing but problems with other fringe providers who frequently attempt to not pay for covered services by playing the semantics game.

Or, don't and pay the fine, which is considerably cheaper. The way things are going, those fines could become a thing of the past very soon.

Can't believe the government doesn't swing for coverage anymore, especially a high risk job like yours. I could see them being on the hook bigly if someone is injured.

agreed KR bigly on the hook and the fines I think this year are optional, meaning you dont have to admit you dont have insurance

Also, if you ever get denied for a test or procedure
ask to see who reviewed your case (you are allowed under HIPPA)
it should be physicians, but likely its some grunt. To use someone other than a healthcare professional is illegal and they wont want to show you that so they will approve the procedures/test etc

,might work, might not, but worth a try

You can get out of the fine by checking a box that says "health care is unaffordable" there is no definition as to what "unaffordable" means. Good old irs regs

If the Government stop providing health insurance you should have 63 day fro your last day of coverage, to get a new type of coverage in your state, regardless of health. This is call Continuation of Coverage. Even if you are on Cobra, go talk to an Insurance Professional. Some one who specializes in Health Insurance, remember don't ask, don't get.
The other person was right lowest premium for the highest deductable. Unless the Biopsy come back positive.
hen reach deep to spend less.

My insurance is alright. Nothing great i would suggest. But i will say this. Aflac. You can sign up for diffrent plans to fit your needs or wants. But it's a serious plus to have and considering the pros, its cheap. Especially for young guys like you and myself. If i get injured and can't work ill get paid my full salary still without having to use PTO. Little check ups and cancer check type stuff... you get paid. Something serious happens like losing a limb... you get paid more. Have to travel for better treatment or to see a specialist..... paid for.

You need insurance before aflac. But it's legit. Dude i work with didn't have it. Broke his back. Had to come back to work after only a few weeks just so he could pay bills and support his family and kids. The rest of us have aflac and in the same or similar situation would be getting our normal pay check, or actually a little more honestly, to sit at home and heal.

Being poor this might not seem appealing, but if you get on the cancer plans and more "old people" type problem plans as a young guy, you pay allot less. That way if something does happen down the road, your covered for crazy cheap.

thanks mr. trump! can you save my job too? the federal government is cutting my handcrew in the most fireprone fuel loaded area of the pacific north west. Thousands of americans will die and lose their homes in the future if our handcrew is disbanded next year.
