This is a must watch video. This kid is a freaking legend. https://youtu.be/0xT71wqUay4 If you want a darker side look up the documentary on golden gate bridge jumpers all 2000 of them, so much so they stopped keeping count. 1 police officer has a record for talking down 2 dozen or more jumpers. The scum in San Francisco won't put up a fence because it will ruin the view so they finally made this stupid net, I guess we will see if it works https://www.google.com/amp/sanfranc...-at-golden-gate-bridge-after-1-5k-deaths/amp/
they asked the suicide survivors what was the last thing that went through their minds? a lot of them responded," I wish I didn't jump"
The problem with bridge jumpers is not that they take their lives that way. It's that they take their lives at the expense of other peoples emotions. They jump to be seen jumping, they jump to get people to beg them not to, it's all about them, never mind the poor souls that witness it or have to recover the body. Put a net there, don't give them the satisfaction. Btw that guy is a complete idiot.
wow... so I just skipped through the video didn't listen to everything, was the kid commiting suicide or he just wanted to jump for fun?pretty fukin stupid if u ask me lol
we used to like to jump off bridges when I was a kid. The highest one I jumped was Destin's east pass bridge. The highest part of that bridge is only about 75 feet, but even jumping off that was pretty sketchy...if I hadn't have landed straight (feet first), I coulda broke something. The highest dive ever recorded was 175 ft...and that was with the aid of water sprayed on the landing site to break the surface tension AND the diver's knees and feet were heavily taped to keep them from breaking on impact. The Golden Gate bridge is 220 feet high!
I used to do a lot of bridge jumping too. My highest jump was 55 feet and that was scary enough. Once I jumped off a forty foot bridge holding a beer ball while my friend drank from it... I knew one kid who would dive from the top of a train bridge. 90 feet. I can't even call the kid a friend; he was too f u c king crazy for me to consider him a friend. He's probably dead now... Stoopidest bridge move I ever did was swing out on a rope and wait for the rope to come back and hit the base of the bridge. I don't know what physics were involved, but it shot me straight out like a torpedo and I landed flat on my back from thirty feet up. My friends were laughing so hard they almost let me drown... Ahhh Youth...
