This is a photo below of Tim Tice when we were out for Ernesto. We were riding SS in the morning an hour+ before the guards came on & they called us in because they said they didn't want to have to paddle out if something happened. We argued but went to NS which was actually fun with long rights in the cove. This picture was when we went back after the guards were off in the afternoon. Hammer time all day that swell.

Does Colin wear a inflatable life vest

 

No, Colin is way too experienced and a waterman to need it. Colin may be doing step offs but have no doubt he can drop in At SS. Or anywhere else with the best of them.

Why would anyone need one around here? The waves don't get that big.

 

Colin head hunts real watermen with a jetski. Colin is a punk in a grown man's body. Not even grooms would think stepoffs on EC waves are cool. One of the people Colin almost ran over on a ski was a groom, I watched the whole thing. The ski did a step off and pulled straight in front of the wave and almost clipped a groom paddling out. The kid had to board ditch because the ski operator was looking behind him watching the rider. I hate Colin and Raven they will stop stepping off in OCMD. No more warnings.

If someone gets run over I will be mad I didn't do enough

Raven is a hang around, clearly Colin is the ring leader. If I'm not mistaken it was Raven who almost ran that groom over on 48th street.

He totally edited out the ski he used to step off into these inland Texas bombs. Wrong! The Austin Tex surf community needs to rise up and stop letting the 302 Crew defile another wave with their machines and things.

This was Sandy the only picture I could find for an example that's not in a video. I dont care if you tow days like this once every few years, not every swell. Do you see how the ski pulled in front of the wave they towed into? It's a technique they use regularly on small days. The jetski operator is looking back at the rider not paying attention to where they are going. If you are paddling out you are at risk of getting run over.
