Raising a glass to Bob right now. Can only hope to live such a long and fulfilling life surfing like he made for himself. Shortboard at 84 yrs. old- excellent. Rode that wave well all the way to the beach and kicked out gracefully.

i saw that article today as well Dos. As the bean quoted shortborting at 84!!! that's unbelievable, and definitely something I am striving for. That is as pure a testament to one's ability as a waterman as anything I could think of.
