Nurse sharks bite alot of stupid divers (redundant?) down here. They pet them, they pull their tails. "Oh, it's a nurse shark, nurses are nice, let's pet her", is going through their oxygen deprived brain cells, then bam! they get bit and the fire department has to get the jaws of life out to remove the poor creature from their dumb ass.
the guy that got bit is actually a friend of one of my classmates. he showed me a video of the dude wading out and getting bit.. definitely a dumbass

weather cancelled my shark dive last sat! its on for tomorrow! hope all goes well and I see something! big difference having a shark approach you out of curiosity than trying to grab a injured or scared one! either way it should get my adrenaline flowing!
There was a gator in the surf at CB today. I got yelled at for going in the water by the wildlife officers. And the wife.
This happened in Delaware a few years ago. Kid hooks/reels one in, fools around with it in the shallows trying to get some pics with it, got bit on the arm a couple times requiring a few stitches. EVERY media account referred to it as a "shark attack" which he was the "victim" of. What a joke.
