There is no such thing as Performance Surfboard Fins. All fins are the same.

If your going to troll at least troll well. A woman and a shaved goat are fairly similar materials, much diffrent template and size though...... which was my exact point.

But thanks for proving my point. Kind of. I think

The nubster makes a difference, but it's subtle. I've talked about this before... it provides a little smoother transition when going from rail to rail. Makes it roll over easier because of that tiny bit of stabilization it gives. It adds no drive or responsiveness. Only slight "centering" effect when going from toe to heel.

I like a stiffer fin on shortboards... flex fin on longboards. I'm a bigger guy so I need to be able to push against the fin without having it bend and scrub off speed.

I don't know a lot about fins, but my experiences put these factors in order of performance:
    1. position, toe and cant.
    2. overall surface area
    3. template, specifically the ratio of base to tip area
    4. rake - changes the radius of your turns and determines speed through turns.
    5. foil - I've been surprised by the lack of difference a "perfect foil" makes compared to a fin that's not foiled in the traditional manner.

Well, my bad for reading what you said wrong. But I stand by what I said. I see no point in ruining the ride of a twin or quad by sticking a trailer fin in there. Ride a thruster.

I bet I surf better than all of you with an old time "skeg" in any board available.
    Bunch af fvcking nonsense.
