Mcgregor is going to woop up on ya boy mayweather. I'm putting 100 dollars on McGregor, thank goodness DE allows online gambling.

Thought about making this thread. On paper Floyd wins, because it's boxing not MMA, but wouldn't it be great if he went out there and didn't respect Cmac and get starched! That's what I'm pulling for but not sure how it will play out. Conner has to get him to brawl or else he'll be chasing him around the ring all night. Mayweather should have been a track star, not a boxer.

Mayweather is going to destroy him. I'd love to see Connor whip his a$$ but he has no chance.
In a cage he would crush him but boxing he has not shot. Floyd will make him look foolish if he wants to.
But they will make it last a few rounds so people buy the rematch.

I agree for the most part but we have to remember Floyd is over 40 now, hasn't fought in a few years. Connor is in his prime, just turned 29 and is bigger, stronger, hits harder and has a style Floyd has never seen. Not saying Cmac wins but I could make a case for him. Floyd better not get hit.

Too bad the last round is not MMA. That way Money would have to try to end it before he gets mugged in the final round. It would make him have to be more aggressive and maybe Conner would have a puncher's chance. I think the lead up will be way more exciting than the actual fight, meaning McGregor will land about 10 decent punches the whole fight and will lose by unanimous decision, zzzzzzzzz.

Not paying for this one, but I would pay to see Triple G knock Floyd's old ass out.

He's only fighting because he needs to pay off a tax debt

That and it will be the easiest $100M+ he ever made... He'd much rather fight cmac that have to fight GGG or Canelo and risk getting KO'd and ruin his 49-0 record.

That's the only reason they are going to drag it out and make cmac appear to have a chance, so they can have a rematch and another pay day.

All I gotta say is Floyd better respect him or he's going to sleep.

no chance... He hits hard for an mma fighter and he's a great mma fighter. But he's not a boxer and doesn't have the power of guys like Canelo, Oscar or Sugar Shane.

It's like when MJ wanted to played baseball because he was good in high school. He like like 200 in the minors. He would have hit 0 if he was going up against a guy like Kershaw.
Cmac would get KO'd by the 100th ranked boxer in his weight class, let alone the #1.. I know Floyd is not a power puncher, but (if he wanted) he could knock him out in 1 round.

Cmac knows it too. But he knows he has nothing to lose and a sh!t ton to gain

Completely disagree. It's fighting. Two dudes throwing fists. And Conner hits as hard as anybody at that weight, if not harder. Boxing is part of MMA, and happens to be what he's best at within the context of MMA. He will bring his speed, power, and fighting skills, real fighting skills with him to the boxing ring. 40 Year old fighters go to sleep much easier than 29 year old fighters. The brain can only handle so much.

Like I said though. Floyd SHOULD win this, no argument there. It's boxing and the boxer SHOULD win. If he respects Conner and plays his normal defensive style and runs and hugs he'll win a decision. But if he drops his hands too much and tries to punk Conner, he's going to go down just like Anderson Silva did when he tried clowning Chris Weidman, and got knock the F*ck out man!
