    How the game is played.

    1. Create corporation with the mission to provide renewable energy.
    2. Create impressive website touting your lofty goals.
    3. Seek and receive federal and state grant money.
    4. Spend said grant money on high salaries for yourself and your buddies until said grant money is gone.
    5. Quietly close up shop.
    6. Look for the next scam.

I wouldn't worry about said wind farm.

The new guy dropping some impressive knowledge.

FWIW, I don't believe that a wall of windmills will significantly degrade swell.

As much as I hate the idea of it, I doubt it would impact the surf.

A "windfarm" does not CREATE wind, dummy.
It uses wind to create electricity.
God....the dearth of basic science knowledge in our society is astounding....

makes 0 difference.theres pplenty of spots in south America with oil rigs not that far from shore and the waves pump there so a few poles in the water isn't going to affect anything

Killing one bird is too many. But millions? Seems like a bit much

Maybe the hypothetical wind farm will act like a kelp bed and keep the surface choppe down so the incoming swells are more clean. But to be 100, who knows?
