    "Strongest Nor'Easter in decades"

    "Strongest Nor'Easter in decades"
After rereading this statement a few times and ensuring that I was in fact awake, I laughed so hard that I fell off my chair. This is the stupidest and most incorrect thing I've hear in a month. Decades? How the hell can you say this thing was anything more than your average moderate/moderate high Nor 'easter?

There's hyperbole, and then there is just outrageousness which demonstrates ignorance and lack of credibility.

I have lost a lot of respect for this site because of this unbelievably stupid and erroneous mistake.

wow dude... We are not talking about surf, we are talking about the destruction that has been caused. The term is not our own, we are reiterating what forecasters all along the Mid Atlantic have been calling this storm due to the flooding and damage that has occurred. State of Emergencies have been declared in several states.

Its more of the tidal effect that caused the damage and made this storm a dune eating beast. If it wasn't for the supper high tide and the new moon it would of just been another storm...

Yes, storm surge, is generally the biggest problem with these storms.

Why are their people like yourself that have nothing better to do than piss in other peoples cheerios? Your completely correct swellinfo in quoting that it was the worst. I live on the water and I will agree that it was terrible. Maybe you need to get out of your office cubicle and step foot on some delmarva soil during the next perfect storm. See you in a few decades.......

Ida has caused the worst flooding and damage to Wildwood in 15 years. So far there were 3 lives lost due to Ida and not to meantion Damage to beaches and property to shore communities
