Started with a tall Modelo and then switched and had a couple Goose Island IPA's. I've been trying to find the best IPA and Goose I feel is near the top of the list. I think the SweetWater IPA is pretty choice as well.

Goose IPA on tap and then bottles. UFC fights tonight have been weak so far.

You like gin? Try this on a hot summer afternoon...

In a shaker half full of ice pour...

    1 1/2 oz. Hendricks Gin
    1/2 oz. St. Germaine
juice from a half a lemon
    simple syrup to taste
    4-5 thin cucumber slices.

Shake well; pour into a tall highball or collins glass

    top with club soda.

    ^^^ LOL

Put away a few Modelos last night. Decent beer... nothing special. Nothing special about the takeout pizza I ate it with, either, so...

I was kinda depressed about not getting to see Dropkick and Rancid last night in Asbury. I guess I was sulking. Anybody catch that show?

I went, it was something to do. Wasn't too bad. Can't remember the last time I saw Rancid. It seems like it's been a decade and a half. I'm not a huge fan of those of those Stone Pony Summer stage shows. Good thing it wasn't raining! You missed out on a decent show, but nothing too great.

After noticing it in live performances on youtube videos for years, I can confirm it in person as well.

Tim Armstrong's voice is completely shot. He legit sounds worse than Bob Dylan has for years now, and he's over 20 years older. Timmy probably smoked too many cigarettes or something.

Lars looks like Wattie from The Exploited. If you didn't know any better, you'd be asking ''When did Wattie from The Exploited join Rancid?''. I feel really young after seeing Lars Frederiksen. He's almost 6 full months younger than me and I know I don't look nearly as old as he does. He looks almost as old as the real Wattie, who must be early 60's by now.

That's a shame, but not surprised.
