Who had surfing parents?

Parents didn't surf but didn't discourage me from it either. My dad bought a board after watching my brothers and I surf for a few years. He tried a few times but didn't stick with it.

My grandfather loved watching us surf, I get the feeling he has some regrets about not trying it while he was younger. Spent a few weeks down in the caribbean a few years ago and grandfather loaded us in the rental car and took us out to hunt for surf. Found some fun waves, had a blast.

 

My mom was super supportive and hauled me up tp RI frequently as a youth.

 

My Mom had me on a swim team at age 7. That was cool, it gave me skills. I quit in 11th grade, surfing and parties were the priority.

 

Order of priorities...
