Nuuhiwa fish? I'd buy it, too!

I lived in Matawan for 2 years in the late '80s while I was working in Union County. Figured it was about half way to Squan. Surfed there for those two years... mostly the inlet. I never got to know any of the locals (who totally owned the spot) but there was this one dude who always surfed with this HUGE smile on his face. It's like it was stuck there. And he could rip, too... he was doing airs and 360s before anybody else up there was. Joe Grattola was doing them down south... in sneakers!

Use the https://kek.gg free image hosting site suggested by Austine de Tejas (or maybe one of the other Mod squaders*).

It worked for me in the "who's been surfing" tread.

3 fins was the coolest thing to come out of 80's surf culture .

fun times! i was born in '68 and was a full-fledged grom in the 80's. rode a single-fin no-name board, and moved up to a twin-fin lightning bolt, mostly because Jerry Lopez was god. there were still lots of free beaches you didnt have to pay to get on. surf flicks at the VFW (as said above).. sex wax was the only wax you could get, wetsuit technology was garbage, and crowds were non-existent. lots of uncrowded breaks everywhere. road trips to OBX!
    damn those were the days
