Hey guys, I am currently creating art based off of my passion of surfing. The imagery is a bit different from the norm of surf art. Our art is based on local history as well as the dark and powerful Atlantic during the fall, winter, and spring months. All of the art is hand drawn in pen by myself, we create prints as well as shirts, and board art. Check us out if you get the chance. Like I said it is not the typical surf imagery, but if you are like us and you feel the surf industries image of surfing does not fit your surf lifestyle, check us out Thanks [/IMG] www.gyasurf.com www.facebook.com/graveyardatlantic www.myspace.com/graveyardatlantic [ Frank Consoli GraveYardAtlantic
How is this surf art? I boogie board and I dont see the relation. Personally I would rather wear Volcom, Quiksilver, anything else that really reps surfing.
Well its not for everyone. Just sharing something different for anyone interested. Thanks for checking it out though.
Frank, you might like the artwork my friend does with his company Plastic People: http://plasticpeoplenewyork.com/main.html
Yeah, I have seen their stuff before. I think I am a fan on facebook. Really unique stuff, I dig it allot.
We will be in the Atlantic City Press this Sunday if anyone wants to more info on us. I am working on getting this website thing done, but who has the time eh. For now my facebook has most of the current art, myspace is kind of dead. We are having a gallary event this Friday night in Atlantic City at the Chelsea, following the MMA fight Ring of Combat as well. Check us out.
Aight bro dont get me wrong i wear volcom and quiksilver and all the surf brands and i think its good to support the pros but these are legit drawings(sorry if there not i dont know art). Support a local company
thats rad...keep it up. I am an artist...and love to see people trying something different than the typish Drew Brophy (who does absolutely crazy stuff) style board art. Good for you...screw the haters. Unfortunately, with anything artistic...you are going to bother some...and appease others. I love how it is very 2 dimensional....keeps it flat, but there is still alot of depth. Look forward to more
