This may have been done before, but figured we needed a change of pace. What are your favorites...coupes, sedans, trucks, wagons, SUVs. etc.? I've been partial to Chevys...probably on account of my Dad. Here's one of my favorites: 1969 Malibu SS. Also liked the 1965 Impala SS...
Toyota Previa El Camino 22R toy pickup Mihindra Bolero What can I say.....I like the functional ****e
Had a 73 Mach 1, that was my first car. Got it in 1988 when I was 17. Sold it in 94, which I regretted. I wish I had, it wouldn't have been garage kept for all these years, although it could be right now. I would have had to keep it parked on the street for many years, until I had my own garage in the house I own now and bought in 2010. I have a 93 5.0 LX right now, bought this in August of 2000, just was 17 years earlier this month. This is the car I consider ''My car''. I had an 03 Mach 1 that was hit and totaled last September. Bought that brand new, but always considered the 93 as my car. I bought a 2011 5.0 GT back in May, with the money I got back from the totaled 03 Mach 1. I've been enjoying it quite a bit. As far as performance cars go, I had a 93 Z28 Camaro from 93-99, which I wrecked, that one was my fault. Definitely a Mustang guy though. In 30 years of driving next March, I've never owned a front wheel drive or anything with less than 8 cylinders, not including motorcycles.
I was never really a car guy. Dudes see a fast car and cream themselves. Yeah that's not me. I always liked cars that had functionality.... usually related to surfing. El Camino..... wanted one of these before i even had my license as a kid. One day I'll definitely get one The old school suburbans, the ones with the barn doors. Love those things. Hate Ford but the excursion and expedition are would be great if it wasn't for that blue oval And as far as high end cars. Dodge viper... blue with the white racing stripes. Was my dream car since i was a kid. I will never own one hahaha
I've never owned one, but this usd to be my favorite car. 911 Carrera turbo I'm kind of like Bassmon, I've never been a huge car guy.
For practicality you own either an adventure van or a prius, if you love driving you'd love a nissan gtr, anything else is just showing off.
sidebar - Morro Rock is awesome. It's arbitrary but it always feels to me that Morro Bay is the dividing line between northern and southern CA. It's just a touch colder than Pismo and the ocean seems bigger and colder breaking on the north side of the Rock. I total get why that was a sacred place to native Americans going back through the millennia. Cars: real world - I'd like to own an adventure van (Transit or Sprinter conversion) for ski/surf/camping trips but don't have one yet. make believe - love the Audi Quattro rally cars from the 80s.
Me and the fiancee were driving or east last weekend to look at a wedding venue. Saw one of these. Stopped at a red light and completely turned my head to check it out for a second. Swung my head back around and gunned it through the red light.... very narrowly missing a accident. The car distracted me. The fiancee was not happy
I love the old 40's 50's pick up trucks. Chevy ,Ford...just get so pumped when I see a really good restoration rolling down the road.
I'm not a big car person myself anymore. I'd rather spend my extra loot on trips, electronics, artwork, boards, cameras, etc... I've had some nice cars and some sh!tty cars throughout my life and neither have really done anything for me. If money wasn't an object though I'd keep it simple and get the wife a Range Rover and myself a Porsche. I think both have a really clean look.
68 Camaro. 327cuin4spdtransmission/70s on all 4wheels with baby moons. Metallic cinnamon brown. Crashed it and sold it cheap.
