'86 Monte Carlo ss Can't upload a pic since this site has gone down the tubes and doesn't work anymore... Could someone please upload a sweet pic for me of an 86??
My dad has a kit one from Excaliber. It's a darker blue than that with the white stripes. It has a 1995 mustang 302 5.0 in it with edelbrock heads and intake, full functioning side pipes. It is loud as hell but fun to drive and gets stares everywhere you go. Its still slower than my 2015 GT lol
Some old cars are also more fun to drive than faster, modern ones because they are louder and handle worse so it feels like you are closer to the edge. I used to borrow an uncle's MGB and when you were going 60 it felt like you were letting it all hang out. Small car, no top, weak brakes, no power steering - total fun and yet a 1985 Honda Civic would blow its doors off in any competition.
My 1st car was a 68 Camaro SS 396 with extensive work done after I got it. Ran 11:60's @ the track & was fun. It was also dangerous riding around locally if it rained with the posi rear going around a curve.
Yeah I agree, BEE-UUU-TEEE-FUL! Here's a 21st century car I wouldn't mind owning. If I only had half a million dollars to blow.
I think the older versions are 100x nicer than the newly concept creations.everything looks nice except the ass end
