I've always been more into the mid-late 60's-early 70's muscle cars than the 50's and early 60's cars. Some of them were pretty cool though. Was halfway contemplating spending my $20k between the insurance payout of my 03 Mach 1 and money I had saved, on an older Mach 1 from the early 70's, like the 73 I had back in the day. I figured it was too much for a project though. I figured my 93 5.0 is pretty much the closest I'll ever have to an old classic car. So I got the 2011 5.0 instead. I figure I'll keep this one for another 8 years or so, then maybe get a newer or even brand new one. I'll keep the 93 forever, barring massive over-payment.
Cool Subaru commercial...
The ass is a Kammback, based on German aerodynamicist & engineer Wunibald Kamm's theories on car turbulence at high speeds. Long roof line w/ a chopped off back. This one looks like a tribute to the Shelby Daytona coupe (?) which was a knock off of the most beautiful sports car (arguably) ever - the Ferrari 250 GTO. Reminds me of sexy eurotrash women, great curves and a flat ass- Sophia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, etc.
dude you can get those so cheap. under 10k for near perfect condition. great beach car. just not so great for taking a couple boards with you on a surf check....
