I have been gone for a while.

I came on here feeling all nostalgic and resurrected a couple of threads only to see this has become the Alpha Beta House from what, Revenge of the Nerds 3 when it's all gone to hell?

Are infractions still a badge of pride in this community?

does it seem like threads/new users just get deleted right and left. Didn't some Hipster Klown dude start a thread about the kneeling/NFL/Trump BS and within 10 posts the thread and the OP are just vanished into the ether? Its a dumb political topic (or for some the biggest deal of 2017 apparently) but why does it just vanish? This forum has been chewing on political topics for years and suddenly a thread about this tired topic is across the line?

 

Can count on good posts and pics on the "Who's been surfing..." thread.

I just watched it all the way through. It's been a while since I've watched that video or any of their videos, and I forgot about when Mike Muir had all that hair and was still in shape. Now he's got shorter hair or maybe even no hair under that bandana, and is really fat. He has been for years now. I saw them this year, and he don't look anything like he did back then haha. Even though the way he looked in this video is exactly how I remember him when I was growing up.

I think the first time I saw them, he might have not even had long hair yet. That's how old I am haha. That was probably back in 84, 85 or 86.

 

I still like the pics section on the site, as well. Which a lot of people come to post pics and never even post on the forums. I love checking out the pics and video, especially when I need a surf fix and it's been a while since I've been able to surf. Like during my working months.
