You can't stop it so why bother? Waste of energy worrying about it.

no, definitely not, but my oldest is now 10 and body image is so freaking damaging. I get it, if this was a closed forum thing and only certain people could read this stuff then whatever, you know what goes on in it and you can avoid it. But, say she is on the site she sees her dad on and reads a post with a title about some influential girl surfers and wants to read it. Just sucks that I have to say, "I'm really glad you like surfing, but avoid swellinfo because you can't read the stuff that goes on in there."
    That's all I'm saying.

CBLACK, good points. I was trolling like in the old days...
I get you. A lot of us have daughters and some of us olde farts even have granddaughters.
It's just that it seems the place has gotten so PC nobody can say anything that might offend anyone.

This is a mentality I will never be able to subscribe to.

    You sound like a caveman.

I have seen pictures of athletic girls, even locals who are good surfers and thought they looked too pumped up to be attractive. Sorry that judgement does come into play for everyone when you see a picture. But the real point of this is when I meet these woman in real life I'm usually taken back by how tiny they are and how the photograph made them look bulky and was completely inaccurate. Some that I know well not onlY rip harder than me but are super attractive little things. Taught me a lesson not to judge someone by a picture, photographs lie.

The more attractive female pros do not compete full time, not enough money in it. Just enough to keep sponsors and promote the lifestyle (however that's interpreted) but modeling pays better. The Alana's, Anastasia's don't get to compete enough to challenge for the title even though early in their career the potential may have been there.

I do like Fitzgibbons and Webb, they look pretty fit and more feminine

I don't really care if people think they're attractive or not. I just hate the idea that it's considered sexist to admire a girl's looks or physical attraction not being a good enough reason to pursue a woman. If I didn't require attraction in a woman that I wanted to date, I would just date my neighbors daughter. She seems like a great woman, the only problem I'd have with dating her is there's no physical attraction. I don't think she's attractive. I can't imagine myself even kissing her.

    Great lady, just not attractive.

Haha I've never went up and said ''NICE TITS BABE!'' or anything like that. I have made a comment about their beauty, but no body parts or anything. Been a long time since I've met someone new and dated. Not since the Summer of 2008. Dated a few women in a short time period that year, and the last one wound up being my girlfriend for over 5 years and we were engaged for part of that time. Towards the end of the relationship, I just wasn't courting her properly, nor showing affection the way she wanted, I was putting off setting a date and marrying her. That's how I lost her. I regret that big time. I've lost two long term girlfriends that I should have married. I lost the first one I probably should have married, at only 26. I was young, and couldn't imagine being married at 26, so that one never hurt as much. The last one did. Now I'm 46. probably will never have kids, no wife, no family. It's depressing to think about. I didn't practice my pickup lines on her anymore, which I probably should have.

I really over-achieved with that last one. She was almost 12 years younger (LOL it's sexist if a late 30's guy only wants to bang mid 20's women! LOLZZZERS). I thought she wasn't interested at first, since she was so shy. I came really close to ending my initial pursuit of her, I thought it was a sign of her not being interested, then I found out she was really shy for a beautiful woman. I had a certain effect on her and she had a very high interest level in me. She just had a child last year, it stung to find out about her being pregnant.

I did ask a girl out over the Summer, who works at the local convenience store (LOL). I got to know her a little bit from going into there. I think there was some interest, but she had a boyfriend, and she very clearly wasn't happy with their relationship. After friending her on Facebook and reading some of her posts, I got turned off. She's kind of a dumbass. I did tell her if things don't work out, I'd love to go out with her. Aside from being Facebook friends with her, I'm not gonna orbit her or stay in contact.

Of all the things posted on this forum, I find it hilarious that this thread really struck a nerve, and is bringing people out of the woodwork. It also looks to be bringing new accounts to sign up, just to post this stuff.
I'd love to. I don't have much time from September-April due to my heavy work schedule. I just don't ask out enough women. I'll get back in the game, one day....

Yeah this topic is meaningless to me, who really gives a F about these chicks? Lmao If someone created an alt account to post in this thread they should just shoot urslef.

The internet dude. The internet is your friend when you're too busy to go out and meet women. There are sites that make it so easy to get laid, a lot, and high quality. Don't want a relationship? No worries, there's plenty out there who want the same thing. You could have a different woman for every night of the week if you have the stamina.
