https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cbsyUritIk Thats a lovely looking left , imagination could go wild mind surfing a mellow wave like that . New Zealand looks like an awesome place to visit and surf .
Awesome place. Visited last May for about a month when their first winter swells started coming through. Surfed this wave about a foot or two bigger and a bit cleaner. Dreamy spot all around. Definitely crowded when it looks like that but amazing. The people have something about them that I haven't come across anywhere else I've surfed / traveled. Also, if anyone is into wine or food, NZ is a Mecca for fresh seafood and some of the best varatials I have ever come across.
This NZ vid is even more amazing. Talk about a dreamy locale -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=autbgAmO_is
So, I'm watchin the vid on the YouTube, and off to the right in the list of vids, is... HoStevie! Representin. Slide on, dude.
An old friend of mine has gone complete drone bro. He’s trying to be a social media influencer. It’s funny but sad at the same time.
Ho Stevie always showed himself to be a fun dude here. That looked like him havin a fun day. I didn't really think of how it was shot. Just me, though.
Nice! I got a boner just from the thumbnail of that video! No time to watch right now, will check out later!
I think his point was that the rides were pretty long, not really that it was barrelling. It was just cool to see someone we know havin a good day in the surf. ...And I totally found it by accident.
I'm just jealous... Looks freak'n amazing. But on a serious note... to me, that's a fish wave. I'd like to see Rasta on that wave.
I had the same reaction. Reminded me of some of the sessions i had in Chicama Peru earlier this year. There were session where i was riding a quad fish, and wishing i had packed a little mini simmons.
They are much better spots to surf than Raglan, as it gets mobbed and the fush and chups in town sucks... you're better off striking out from the "name" spots in NZ
