PSA: I used to love to wear watches. I surfed with the latest, coolest ones, doing imaginary 20 minute heats, timing interval swims, etc. During all the duck diving, it jams the little wind up button and the watch edge into a spot in your outer wrist where it bends and joins the hand. To this day I can't wear a watch for longer than a fancy dinner, my left hand goes numb. I still love a cool watch. Maybe soon they will make cool looking soft gel ones with hi tech capabilities that I can wear.
