It’s pretty chilly up there. Definite 3/2, probably 4/3 more like it. Down here it’s trunks or maybe 3/2 if it’s cold like it was last week but it’s nice out today and should be all week.

Water is like 60 degrees up there right now, if another cold front comes it’s gonna dip into the 50’s.

One of my best friends lives there and is actually up here visiting for the weekend. We were hoping to get in a surf up here, but the forecast is pathetically weak.

He thinks it should be upper 50's/lower 60's. He says he usually wears a smaller spring suit or a 3/2. He's got some old 4/3's from when he lived in Jersey, but has rarely had to use them in Jacksonville or when he lived in Southern California. Usually they're reserved for the really freakishly cold days there, like the days well below average for air temperatures.

He has mentioned that it's been a really weak few months, though. He's mentioned it a few times over the last several months. Too many flat days or barely longbortable. He does go out of town for work a little bit, so sometimes he lacks time for surf.

Hope you get it on a good couple of days!

    Cold "up there"??
We are in water temps mid 40s.
    No consolation--it sucks.

3/2 n you'll be just fine...That's of course if we can get some swell up in here soon. Air this week in high 60s...pushing low 70s. H20 low 60s but fluctuates with swell and wind direction...

    Merry Christmas!

It's been very flat here for over a week. Very little hope for surf on the horizon so make sure you have access to a longboard. 3/2 works when its warm, you'll probably want a 4/3 if the wind is up and the temp drops into the 40s like it did a few weeks ago. Hope you enjoy. I'll be in central Florida for Xmas and hopefully will paddle with that ol sumbit DPSUP.

Will be there in the same time frame. I bring my 3/2mm and my booties just in case. Once it gets in the mid 50's I can't barefeet it anymore. There should be surf soon since it's been small for a while now.
