    I know we all get our share of family fun over the holidays.I guess the expectation of having that magical experience puts pressure on everyone. We always have something,usually just minor stuff but this year...wooo boy. My wife's brother had a blow up with his family before coming to our house for the magical Christmas dinner and just decided to blow off the the whole thing. Mom in law took it bad and had her own little anxiety/breakdown. Then MY mom got a little(read smashed) tipsy and told my son to "shut the f&ck up" while he was talking about a school project. The whole house went dead quiet and she had no clue. Did not remember saying it the next day. The topper was my neighbors dog got out of the fenced in yard and tried to attack my dog. I have a German Shepard and it did not end well. Neighbor has a Husky that is about the same size. Sad story is the Husky lost an eye and half an ear. Neighbor calls the cops. Mom in law is screaming that my dog is a menace.
    Everyone is leaving today- my wife said to me this morning " You get your wish next year...we are spending next Christmas in Hawaii. I need a break from all this...".
    It's a Christmas miracle!!!

    Sounds like a normal family gathering.......we humans certainly are a peach, aren't we?? But yet, we call ourselves "the Crown of Creation"....hahahaha....NOT!!!

    Cool beans bro! I'm getting ready to leave my wife. She blew off her first PT appointment today, it was scheduled at 6 pm, they squeezed her in during the holidays, but it cut into her drinking time so she blew it off. Swell is Friday Saturday Sunday so I'll suck it up, no ultimatums till after Jan 1, then if she does not go, (and my insurance changes so who knows if she can) then I'm done. Panama.

    Hang in bro...things will feel different after this weekends surf. I am headed to Satellite or Indialantic. Looks like a good little swell incoming.

    sheesh, i have a husky..she went closer to sniff a german shepard right outside of dog park and got a bite that required long line of stitches. she is small and 10 years old. i had a moment when i thought of repercussions of walking over to my truck and blazing his dog with a 45. As is, just vet bills.

    Man, you had a party at your place! Hawaii would sure be nice route

    She made a new appointment for next week , so things will chill. But last night I was looking at Panama, for real. $385/mo rent for a 3/2 furnished with a/c turnkey single family home near the beach in David, lots of ex-pats, fairly civilized. Food not too pricey. Need money for a vehicle upon arrival, and couple $Ks to get set up - no biggie. Dry season starts in early Jan thru April. Good time to visit to check things out. Ya never know.

    My dog never fights. Dog parks are total chill. This was a strange event for both dogs. They are usually friendly with each other. Maybe because they knew it was Christmas? IDK but the neighbor was way pissed. Thing is...it was in my yard so no liability on my end.
