It's day 45 of the flat spell OCMD. The crews minds are caving, food is running short, tempers started to flair and every bro is pursuing other activities.

For the next 10 days the highest temperature will be like 34 with average highs around 28 degrees. Lows in the single digits and low teens.

The swell forecast is looking scarce, no waves in sight, the horizon is flat. Help will surly arrive soon. They couldn't have forgotten about us could they?

down south there are waves upcoming. it's cold tho n i don't got any 5mm anything. last day at work for the year, so there could be a couple times during the wknd where i say f it and hop in. if it wasn't for the CR trip, i would've saved my $ for this days like these when the caribbean makes it all worthwhile

Shouldn't that be "too cold" and not "to cold" for your thread title? Prima facie evidence surfers are morons.

You call those couple SSE short period swells an actual swell? NJ and NY get those SSE swells real nice, however, us, not so much.

I am just sayin, I wouldn't necessarily say it's been flat for 45 days.

Got out for a pheasant hunt at the crack of dawn. It's fun to be outdoors in the cold as long as you're not working. Working in the cold sucks... and I give you dudes all the credit in the world. But if there were waves... you'd all be out there, and you wouldn't complain about it, either.

Only got one bird, but it was a beautiful morning in the woods.

I’m honestly considering taking a flight straight down from NJ to FL and coming back the same night on Saturday just to score some chest to shoulder high warm waves. Spirit airlines is cheap right now. Who’s trying to roll?

get your hobbies oot of your vajayjay. 34 aint cold, sh1t won't even freeze at that temp.

the average high here over the next week is aboot 9. if there were waves, id go. there were waves sat, sun, mon and i went...avg aboot 3 hrs/sesh.

    find something to do.

This is very true. Like i said, it was in the teens today with 20+ mph winds... single digit real feel. Working outside. I kept saying to myself how its funny how miserable i was yet if there were waves, I'd be in the water with out a second thought.

It did feel extra cold today though. These temps happen every year in the winter. But today i was hurting. Think my body is just weak from being sick and couldn't deal without complaining every step of the way. Its hard to work with your hands.... when you can't feel your hands

I can't wear thick gloves hunting... just can't feel the safety like I want to, and sometimes getting my finger into the trigger guard gets hung up. So I wear these thin gloves that...basically... all they do... is just keep your bare skin protected. My hands were hurting for the first hour. But no matter how cold it gets, you eventually start working up a bit of a sweat. Then your hands come back to life.

The thing that's the worst in those temps and wind is my lips... As soon as I warm up and I get feeling back in my face, my lips start to burn!
