Any Eastern Shore or Chincoteague guys on here?

Swellinfo is suggesting that there is going to be a stomach to chest high bump in that region on Monday; Surfline says otherwise.

I’m skeptical and think it may be fake news, but I’m desperate enough that I may travel four hours down there just to find out.

Report said it was 3+ yesterday too but I'm with you on being skeptical.

Yeah man. That's the problem with my job. Sometimes I'm up on a roof and i know what I'm doing from the start. Changing a motor or somthing. Hands are fine because I'm using them. But then there's times when i have to diagnosis a electrical issue first and the hands aren't really being used for a bit.

I can't wear gloves either. I have fairly small hands. Can never find a pair that fits right. Wearing gloves my dexterity is gone. Would rather have cold hands and get done fast then to drop a bolt 30 times.

Yeah..last Saturday's chest high waves for my anyway is not a flat spell. It might have been windswell, and might have only lasted one afternoon, but living on Delmarva, i'm not going to pass them up.

    I’m jealous. Have fun.

I had my opportunity to fly from AC to Orlando on a $235 round trip flight, but I slept on it too long and now gone.

    • It's so cold I had to break the smoke off my chimney.
    • It's so cold I had to open the refrigerator to heat the house.
    • It's so cold that Lady Liberty put her torch inside her dress!
    • It's so cold prisoners are begging for the electric chair.

I am evidence that surfers are morons.

Are you around that way? I gotta figure this out... Know of any cams or anything round there? Surfline is calling it flat for the northern end of the island, but says VA will be 2-3’ wind slop.

Dying for something to ride right now.

The pond is frozen near my house. So I went down there with my sons and their buddies and played ice hockey. I've skated maybe twice in the last 10 years so I looked like Happy Gilmore but it was fun.
On a work/gloves note, I got a pair with the fingers that roll back at Cabellas. They keep me warm OK. Better than nothing I guess.

Hold out- it looks like something here Friday....

I wouldn't go around chasen 3ft windswell unless your already there for other reasons. Contradicting reports and no real change in weather to cause much of a swell event, its questionable

The waves will come! Patience patience

You are right. It’s a long haul for a potential complete washout. I’m just frothing so hard.

Praying to the surf gods at night...
