need help with deciding a board?

    hey guys i might be getting a new board for christmas and im looking at this rockaway canyon batquad but i saw on some reviews that its made in china is that a bad thing? does anyone have any info or opinions on this board. im only gonna be surfing small waist chest possibly head the most with it, i aint a big charger my duck dives are horrible big days i get destroyed before i even get to the break ha so if you know anything please let me know thanks!

    yea dont go china. theres a bunch of local shapers. try jon ashton, hes from berlin, MD and makes nice boards.

    i bought this bat tail quad from Jon last year. Hands down one of the best boards i've ridden. At 6'2" its a little on the big side but with the 5mm rubber yesterday the extra volume made it a lot easier once my arms started getting noodled out.

    If you're thinking of buying local, check out Cosmic Bull surfboards out of Long Branch. They're all shaped locally and I really like the ones I have.
