Dear Admin: numbers prease

As mentioned before, Forum boards and blogs are becoming extinct and are almost exclusively the realm of dinosaur baby boomers and Gen Xers. That being said, it wouldn't be prudent to believe that a change in format would possibly generate interest from younger (and more liberal) followers.

The format change is really just an afterthought. This place was outright purged. And they did it for purely political reasons.

ya know what, i think this is a good thing. The admin not posting, that is.

I went YEARS without seeing a admin account get directly involved, making comments and whatnot. Maybe now that micah is back he took the over-eager admins from outdoor hub down a peg.

 

It's a good thing, but the damage is done. Not sure of the status of banned people as well. At this point their silence speaks a thousand words...

 

this is what happens when u boot the cool kids.back in the day,like 4 years ago lol,threades were 30 pages because people going back and fourth.and hijacking treades.now u disagree with someone its a problem and si will not stand for it!!

I still lurk around CyC...the content is certainly lacking these days. Before it was almost like a sick pit at a rock show...you just wanted to get in on it. Now it's the Barry Cuda show...which is like watching re-runs (I kid).

There is still some good stoke coming out of the surf lately thread!

 

Oh and the Asians...C you need to go to a few clubs in Honolulu one time....

 

Oh yeah i forgot stank came back. What'd he get banned for? I just assumed he was over the forum. Only saw a post or two from him then he was gone again. I liked stank. He was a good guy

 

He probably knew too much.

1. Lack of interesting content about surfing
2. Lack of regular posters (whom all got banned and run out of town)

MrBelmars old pal LittleRicky, whom was officially banned, sometime later tried to re-join under a new sign on: "thepartysover"

He was successful, but no one has heard of him cause when he post- only HE sees it, not anyone else!!!

Swellinfo conspiracy!!!

If MrBelmar disappears, you all know why now...

1. One pic has a posting from thepartysover - it's a screen shot from LittleRickys phone. Note the ATT service on top.
2. Note the posting numbers differ between the screen shots... but content is the same (6844 vs 6852)
3. Some screen shots are from my phone- with Verizon service on top...
4. Also note the times on the top of the screen shot vs the content posted by thepartysover
