For a lot of people, weed became uncool the moment it was legalized.
Drugs, like rock and roll, and surfing, are for outlaws.

There is an awesome microbrewery in Cambridge, MA, named Lamplighter, that makes an awesome IPA called "Lawyers, Guns and Honey". I just thought it was a funny name, didn't realize it was a Warren Zevon reference. Swellinfo is a very educational place...

Reading a story last night how due to relaxed weed laws and legalization in some states, Mexican cartels have been phasing out growing and smuggling their nasty schwag and is replacing the "less valuable crop" with heroin poppies "to feed the insatiable appetite of Americans."

In turn, this shift has led to a record number of cartel related deaths, surpassing the number of deaths during the cartel wars of 2010-2011.

I guess this shoots down all those uninformed theories about how legalizing weed will end cartel violence lol.

 

Don't be prejudice against Mexican weed.
