Yeah man. That's survival instinct right there. When i was watching i was thinking that the vest would do more harm than good. More buoyant so getting sucked out easier, harder to hold your ground. But after listening to him talk it sounds like it actually protected him from the rocks a bit. Just insane. That wave is unreal.
Hell yeah. He's a legend. He's actually starting to show his age, physically at least. But after seeing this, i don't believe its hindering him at all. At least not at this point.
