Clown 2 slammed his left knee, left hip, ribs and right knee on Clown 1's board. That takes some serious dismount fail right there.

I've been surfing for about 15 years now...clowns and kooks don't surf when it's bigger than 6ft....if they find the exact spot and know when it's going to be good swell and wind direction good for them....but they won't....guys the water is still cold I doubt we see many kooks driving about

That inlet is no secret. Everyone here has known about it since the days of PJB/SJB. I'd be more interested to see what a certain shoal is doing at low tide. The shoals near said inlet. Plus, a certain jetty made of wood on a different island might be working. Also, certain breaks that got screwed up from replenishment in SNJ might spring to life. Look where it's been too deep lately.

Agreed, I'm on the hunt during this swell but I'm under no illusions that most spots will be working in any manageable sense -even those spots which should be working. The search can be fun inandof itself. Plus who doesn't like a good storm??

“Here the vast bed of waters, seamed and scarred into a thousand conflicting channels, burst suddenly into phrensied convulsion-heaving, boiling, hissing-gyrating in gigantic and innumerable vortices, and all whirling and plunging on to the eastward with a rapidity which water never elsewhere assumes except in precipitous descents.”
Edgar Allan Poe, A Descent into the Maelstrom

I hope your right. Crowding shouldn’t be an issue at said location based on how and where it breaks. Could be skelly bay like.

Man, I hope you're not planning on surfing where I am tomorrow. I fear you and a million other people are. It's not a secret exactly and should be really really good. I have a back up plan, but...I both hope I do and don't see you, if you know what I mean.

I paddled out to Elbow Ledge but didn't see you there. I'll be at Ruggles tomorrow on my 12' Grain gun, looking to straight up murder people on the kick out.
