Keep in mind plenty of posts have been ghosted recently, so even with the fat Texan gone, it really hasn’t changed all that much.

 

I happen to like the new Slacker approach to moderateuring.

 

Unless he was recently fired for doing exactly that.

It was obvious that site traffic was down considerably under Austin's time. If I were running a company and saw those types of numbers, I would have done my research. I certainly believe that had something to do with it as well.

 

I'd feel better if he quit because everyone hated him. Kinda like when your in like middle school and you make a teacher quit and change professions because your ruckus drove her crazy and made her re think life.

It was happening on Micah’s watch, how much he was aware of I have no idea. Perhaps he could pop in and answer that question himself.

 

As Simod5 indicated Austin is not managing SI. Overall state of forum is great. Overall, engaing, fun, entertaining and most of you are relatively reasonable with newcomers. As well, traffic has increased. However, as long as the status quo remains the same as it has been we’re happy to stay behind the scenes and not interject. If you have issues with a post or poster flag the post and we’ll review it.

Seldom, I’ll follow up with the Admin. See if they are able to reinstate your account but at this point I wouldn’t anticipate any changes. I know others of you were banned and accounts permanently deleted and though you too may want your old accounts we’ll see how the Admin wants to handle it.
