The only collusion I see is a bunch of Annapolis spongers getting menstrual on the internet about some local chargers.
That's because they are drunk all day! Even a junkie laying in the trash will say his standard of living is great if he just got high... it's all perspective
Democratic socialism purports to combine majority rule with state control of the means of production. However, the Scandinavian countries are not good examples of democratic socialism in action because they aren’t socialist. In the Scandinavian countries, like all other developed nations, the means of production are primarily owned by private individuals, not the community or the government, and resources are allocated to their respective uses by the market, not government or community planning. While it is true that the Scandinavian countries provide things like a generous social safety net and universal healthcare, an extensive welfare state is not the same thing as socialism. What Bernie Sanders and his supporters confuse as socialism is actually social democracy, a system in which the government aims to promote the public welfare through heavy taxation and spending, within the framework of a capitalist economy. This is what the Scandinavians practice.
Sweden population (9,723,809) 9,656,401 North Carolina, a U.S. a mid sized state's population. This is why you can't compare the United States to any of the small, European countries. We are 'UGE!
Yeah and look at the unemployment rate in Sweden. Virtually non-existent. US unemployment rate doesn't even include the millions just collecting and not even looking for work.
Whens the last time another country asked a Scandanavian country to help them? Huge earthquake in Mexico - call Norway? Hurricane in Haiti - call Norway? Nope. You call us as in the good old USA. I am proud that I live in a Nation of immense resources and capability. We definitely aint perfect but perfection is not a status - its a goal to strive towards.
I hear ya! Strictly speaking, there are no pure socialist countries, just countries with varying degrees of socialism (some a lot, some a little). Some folks would lump all of Europe into the 'Socialist' category, and some would narrow it down to countries like North Korea and Cuba. Like most things today, peoples socialist perspectives are often driven by political sound bites. My view on ol Bernie is that he would have taken us in the direction of European socialism.
Nope...he would have taken you in the direction of Vermont socialism, meaning, you would have had to work on a maple syrup farm, paid "dribbles", and he would buy another 6 properties on Lake Caca, next to Burlington, as the profits from his farms "poured" in. So says Aunt Jemima, his mistress.
