Please no step offs this winter. We as the majority of the surf community ask you respectfully to stop stepoffs in OCMD this winter. Thank you best regards.
I live in Florida, and deplore the idea of step offs and all that douchebaggery lame-o crap. If we get waves one day and I see that, there may be a problem. That being said, please observe tread etiquette and post a pic of your girlfriend, surfboard, or dog. Respectfully.
Seriously, why not move step offs to a real wave, like... Say... Belmar Please move all step off and towing in activities to Belmar, NJ where everyone else is already participating Plus all the pros surf there
They have all been clandestinely dealt with. If you see any out there this season, they weren't the same ones from last season.

Is it legal to do step-offs at the Hatteras Lighthouse? I saw some "professional surfers" doing it a few years back and believed at the time that it was illegal...true or not?
LOL...the funny thing was is that it was only about 3-4' out on that day, but it was barreling pretty good. Good enough to show up as a Surfline video the very next day. Guys were stepping off into 4' barrels while everybody else was actually earning their tubes. Just sayin'

Really?!?! You actually witnessed the one and only 'Shred' in #Belmar?!?? I keep hearing about him around town, but apparently the waves are not big enough yet for him to make an appearance. He only paddles out at 24ft. He must have been practicing - the only place where real pros practice step offs and full KFC turns- #belmar
