Just saw that Surfline had dropped the early hurricane season prediction for 2018. What caught my eye was the time lapse of the 2017 season. I live in Hawaii now but spent May through October in Hatteras last year. It was epic. Things start turning on around the 2 minute mark.
Keep this in mind--they are the same people that are yelling "Global Warming!!, Global Warming!!". But yet, they cannot tell you accurately if it will rain tomorrow........

speaking of hurricanes and s*itty predictions, reading a book called isaac's storm about the 1900 Galveston hurricane. Great read on meteorology and how storms form - also shows how ignorant/egotistical those in the weather field were back in the day. happy so much has changed in 100 years!
Absolutely nothing. According to them, the ice glaciers started to recede at the beginning of the Industrial Age (1850 aprox), and it is humanities fault. They are Al Gores minions.....
Sorry man it's actually August 25 thru September 2 this year. As a wise man once said, "you shoulda booked the trip for yesterday!" Better luck in 2019
