God damnit dude!!! Fucking dope killing folks... This shit pisses me off so bad.

We are losing a generation to this shit thanks to doctors/politicians stuffing their pockets with blood money.

Selling and/or over-prescribing dope should carry the same sentence as 1st degree murder

Ah, only fools die from pills, unless they got Opanas or something. I mean, really...OD'ing on Percs or Roxis? The Oxycontin has been rendered irrelevant since 2012.

It's the synthetics, man. The fentanyl and more and more it will be the carfentanil and W-18.

Don't need no poppy fields, just Chinese chemists.

    Whoa, cuss words. Alright...

Exactly. Doctors as problems here account for far less than 10%. Its the underworld Chinese selling to Mexicans who transport it over the border.
But for American politicians who want money, blaming doctors and pharmas to the gullible, is an easy way to get wealthy. "We take a buck" is the motto of Congress and Senate.

This whole thing, "Oh I got injured and they prescribed me opioids...I didn't even know I was hooked...then they cut me off..."

Oh BS. They try to sound so innocent.

    What a convenient excuse.

So, you were Ward Cleaver before you got a script?

Then when you got cut off you were immediately a black market pill cowboy. Had all the connects, huh?

Or all of sudden they're leaving their Northern Ferris Bueller suburbs and hitting the West Side for heroin?

    Yeah, ok.

i doubted blasters military service. he made a comment about having a MOS that required a high(er) level of education. iirc he stated he never went to college. i called him on it in some PM's. clearly i was wrong and i certainly feel like an ass for doing so. i have a lot of respect for those who serve.

this forum/text format with no facial expressions or voice tones surrounded by some of the most pathologically f**ked up people i've ever seen in a non-institutional setting makes it very difficult to gauge sarcasm and jokes or real insults vs sh!t talk.

That wasn't pointed at you or anyone else on here really. But that used to get him bent.

For some reason he got that on other, or otter, places on the Internet.

And look, I don't know how long he was in for...what he did.

But, he was in the army...national guard whatever...for at least a period of time.

Yeah, don't worry he was doing pills long before you two encountered each other on a surf predictin' website message board. You didn't kill him.

Speaking of pathologically f'd up people...

How come so many middle-aged dudes like to reinvent themselves on surf predictin website message boards? They act like they shred like me, Rob Kelly, but live five hours away from the beach. As if. Y'all will never shred like me, Rob Kelly.

RK, thanks for the details regarding SB. As I mentioned in a previous post in this thread, I had some good conversation with him via PM and some treads. I regret I never met him in real life, he seemed like he had a good heart.

RIP blasters, see ya in beulah land.

Opioids are addictive shit and yes if you don't know this it is very easy to get addicted after a routine surgery like getting wisdom teeth out. Maybe most start out having fun taking them on a night out drinking, but they also probably don't know the true addictiveness of them. I could feel it only after taking them (low level opioids) for a couple days after surgery. Heroin and morphine addiction was tied into learning about the Civil War in middle school, stuck with me through college when a lot of buddies were having fun with pills. Stuff is no good!

Hon, I used to be Swellinfo's opiate/Kasser's Vodka/trash can poster child.

No, it's not easy to get addicted after getting your wisdom teeth out. Unless you got some quack doctor prescribing cancer-level amounts.

Nah, that's having surgery...getting pills...liking said pills...and continuing to use said pills.

Most docs will give you a few day supply. You ain't getting hooked in a few days.

If you take opiates/opioids all day for a few days...yeah you might feel a little off that first day, but that's it.

A habit is not made in three days.

And heroin wasn't mass produced by Civil War time. Just morphine.

Some German dude got credit for heroin in the 1890's even though some English dude first synthesized the stuff in England earlier at St. Mary's Hospital. However, no one cared when the English dude discovered it. It didn't catch on.

But when the Germans and Bayer produced it...everyone loved it.

Wow, 'member when this place was non-stop "action?"

Now it appears it's just another place to say, "Hey, look what I saw on the Internet."

No new characters causing a stir, huh?

    'Tis a shame.

Yeah you're right, I had a wisdom tooth pulled recently and they gave me a two week supply of Lortab (Hydrocodone w/Acetaminophen) and some antibiotics.

They weren't very powerful, they felt nice but nothing crazy, just enough to knock the edge off the sharp pain when eating or drinking. After I ran out, I didn't look for more, it's not that serious.

A habit is made in 21 days though, so another week and who knows. Naaaaah.

You're still sending people to urinate in a cup, right?

    How's Dupont Land these days?

I was working this winter on Polly Branch Rd in Selbyville. Was a relaxing winter.

    Skeg Legs still around here?

yesh man we cussing up in here.

I hear ya on the pills. Did have one buddy kick the bucket on Opana about 8 years ago. I remember he was all excited about them and gave me one. Next thing I knew he had robbed my uncle and I found out a couple days later that he had passed. 28 years old.

I just can't wrap my mind around the fentanyl thing. Why, as a dealer, would you want to kill your clientele? I get it, more high with less material, but wouldn't you warn the person you're selling to?

As i'm typing that I'm thinking, of course not they are selling dope...

Two weeks? See that's too much time for wisdom teeth. If I had mine left I'd ax you who your oral surgeon is. Oh, right you're in Florida. Pill mill capital.

However, taking the prescribed amount three times a day is one thing.

Popping 3-4 pills(7.5 - 10mg pills), three to four times a day for two weeks would get you...ahhhhh a slight hook. You'd feel shitty for a day or two when you stopped. Your herb would counterbalance that.

    Lortab is basically Vicodin.

If such a phenomena is happening, I would speculate it is related to the mid-life identity crisis some encounter.

An moniker on a surf predict'n website is the safer, less expensive play than an extramarital affair or a little red sports coup.

Of course, there are always better ways of coping... like actually getting wet and riding waves.

When I said two weeks, I think I meant 10 days, I count weeks in terms of working days. I only popped one when the sharp pain started settling in after a meal or something. I never took more than prescribed but I did mix with my herb and I may have had a beer or two. Mostly just felt relaxed and warm inside.

Yeah, opanas are(were) for real. No joke.

Well, fent is much cheaper than dope.

It's more intense but doesn't have the "legs" as dope. The effects don't last but a few hours. It doesn't "hold" people from going into withdrawal for very long. Not as long as dope.

So, the dealers can get dope, cut the hell out of it and add in fentanyl. It gives the users an initial intense "rush" and the dope in it keeps people held for a while.

And then there's also the long term dopers who don't feel dope anymore unless it's very high purity. They took to the fentanyl like dogs to pizza. These guys are screwed. Suboxone won't even keep them from getting dopesick.

Like, in places like North Philly there's only a handful of classic old dope corners left. Everything else is synthetic. And aboot three people per day die in this area. Die, not just fall out and get Narcaned.
