Glad you are such a pro! People with addictive personalities get hooked in a week or so, and the morphine was replaced by heroine because it was considered safer at the time, so thanks for trying to prove me wrong, but anyway...

Your personality then is safe. You won't get hooked.

Dude, when I get a script I'm all over that shit. Ha.

But the opioid game is a short term game if you do it right. Long term users are just straight out slaves. The stuff doesn't even do anything to them anymore, it just keeps them from getting sick.

What do you mean by hooked?

An opioid virgin is not going to get a real physical addiction in a week.

Addictive perosonalities are mental, man. Psychological addictions pale in comparison to physical.

Yeah, morphine was "replaced" by heroin 30-years later. And what did morphine "replace?" Right, codeine.

Yeah, I am a pro. Nobody has more general knowledge aboot drugs than I except Courtney Love.

Oh please, don't spell "heroin" with an 'e' at the end. I used to work in a rehab - full of know nothings - and the counselors there couldn't spell "heroin," "percocets" and were all charlatans.

I just like smoking my herb man, I don't need / want much else other than a cold one here and there. Although, I got too drunk last weekend and got sick, but only because I smoked a spliff right when I got home from the bar that my wife I and were at. She drove so I decided to have a few too many. I was feeling great all the way home, even when I got home I was fine, but the smoke sent me into the spins, and I got sick.

I would say it's cause I'm getting old, but that has always happened to me when I had too much to drink and then smoked. My THC levels are probably through the roof as it is since I smoke like 5-6 times a day. For that reason, it doesn't take much alcohol to get a buzz going these days. Plus, I don't drink light beers anymore, almost always an IPA around 7-10%, plus I may throw a cocktail or two in there just to keep it interesting. That's the plan tonight, but i'm going to learn from my mistakes, no smoke when I get home! HAHAHA

Ha, this country has just seen the beginning. Some day they will all rue this whole prohibition thing. What we see now is the result of prohibition.

Yeah, man. All I care aboot these days is mary j wanna. And that's not BS. I don't care aboot him or her, Kelly Slater's friggin wave pools...nothin'

I'm so jelly, and I get jelly aboot nothing else, of the free states. I'm aboot to just start walking to Oregon.

Hang around...? Man, I don't even know why I am here.

I'm surprised no one's taken a swing at me yet.

But I could care less aboot that, too.

But we'll see. Shoot, I don't even surf anymore. I was out aboot ten times this winter.

    I'm just over New Jersey.

The crowds have finally found my favorite jetty.

Too many paddle boards sitting twenty yards out in front of me.

Last summer, I just tried to get in people's way.

Fall I sat in disgust as every set wave was mobbed by clog.

In the winter, it was, "what the hell are all these people doing out here? It's January."

If I see one more car commercial with "surfers..."

This right here man. Fucking A.

But then again, smoking weed is the only sorta "outlaw" thing I do anymore. Shit, I got pulled over the other day and didn't even get a warning. My 18 year old self would be embarassed haha.

Yeah man, hang around. Most of the interesting people left. Now i'm sitting at work looking at the same 3 threads all day. We need more tales from the other side of the boardwalk haha

Ha, dude, there's other reasons, but I get my weed in the ghetto these days. I take public transportation and walk in. It adds a little excitement to the whole process. But it kind of sucks, too, because even though weed is decriminalized in Philly, cops think I'm there for something else. And if they come at you, they ain't real nice aboot it. Plus, man the bullets have been flying lately. And ironically in terms of this thread it's all over fentanyl, but not exactly what one may think. The po-lice have been seeking the fent guys. People have been talking. Talking leads to shooting.

Shooting leads to MY FAVORITE SPOT BEING SHUT DOWN THESE DAYS !!!!

Plus, man that place gets depressing after awhile. I get to leave...

Yeah, I can see cops nowadays and not get that sudden, "Oh shit..." feeling.

AH, I like that line, "tales from the other side of the boardwalk..."

What? Those stories of average everyday sessions in "Who has been surfing this week" getting boring?

Ah, unfortunately, you're probably the only one who wants those tales from the other side of the boardwalk...

so blasters really did die, thats truly sad he was a good man.a funny man.

dope is truly the devil, its sad I know quite a few people who passed,as I'm sure a lot of us on here have friends that died from it.they say its an epidemic now,but in reality, its been a fuckin epidemic since the 70s.

blasters story reminds me of my friend chris Meyers, who was hanging out in his house with his other buddy heith(a real pos) and chris started foaming at the mouth or something, idk I wasn't there, all I know is heith jumped out his window and took off and left him for dead basically.his sister came in his room to tell him dinner was ready when they found him,and he went too long without oxygen to his brain.he was still alive but brain dead.they kept him on life support and eventually pulled the plug after a week or 2.this was early 2000s.

the kid heith was the one that got him hooked on dope.see what dope feinds do is try to get u or anybody to try it so u get addicted and they'll be like il get it for u and end up skimping all ur shit just so they can get high.

all the junkie friends were pissed at me because I didn't visit him in the hospital or go to his funeral.i didn't want to see him like that and have that memory in my head,i like to focus on the good times.kid damn near lived at my house, over every night for years, like family.i truly believe only the good die young because the same people that got him to start using, are still using to this day,and yet didn't die.i don't know how u can live like that.

    rest in peace blasters,chris,rob,weaver,nick,scotty,and eddie.

Yeah, dude, it's me. Swellinfo's most notorious.

    Well, besides Gruvi...

Hope things are well up there in the North lands.

Ha, anyone remember my North Jersey bashing?

Just as I accepted that the surf world ain't the same, I've demured to North Jersey. You guys were right. South Jersey sucks. Besides the immediate three county Philly metro region, South Jersey is this Detroit-meets-Alabama wasteland. Terrible.

No one's getting hooked on pills from getting wisdom teeth pulled. Agreed. But that's a minor procedure. You do realize there are people out there who get into serious accidents with serious injuries where they are getting prescribed pills for more than a few days. Those are the people who can/do get hooked. To say those people are using it as an excuse is pretty rude. I'm sure there are those that do use it as an excuse. But it happens. Not everything is black and white. But i know i know. Your just doing your little schtick. Ruffling some feathers. Ironic how this came up right after we had a similar discussion in the legal weed thread.

And just because you didn't have a habit before injury and being prescribed pills.... it don't mean you live in suburbia and don't know people who sell dope. Iv never touched heroin. Don't know anyone who sells it. If i wanted to get it, i could easily. Believe it or not, people sell dope everywhere. Suburbia or hood. Believe it or not, just because you don't have a habit don't mean you live in suburbia. Once again. Not everything is black and white

I'm rude, huh? Ah, aren't you one of the ones who always got a slant at me. Hey, fine. Whatever makes you happy on the Internet, dude.

My "schtick?" Wow, you listen to people like MIS too much. My stories are for real. Anyone who doubts it...come spend a day with me.

Jesus Christ, you freaken retards, I am not a schtick. I am not four different people at the same time. Freaken a bunch of Alex Joneses on this site. Freaken people live in some surf predictin website message board and they're talking shit to others, or otters?

That is so funny coming from a place where dudes don't even know how to ride down-the-line but act like hardcore shredders, like me, Rob Kelly.

You people should have seen some of the surf advice messages I received from people on here. Some of your heroes on here...ah, never mind.

    Talk aboot "Schtick"

I don't have a "schtick," dude. Yeah, I didn't live the domesticated life, dude.

I'm not ruffling anyone's feathers. Well, not trying to.

You kind of contradict yourself up there, Skippy. But I'll let you figure that out. That last paragraph was a hot mess.

So, you don't do dope but are well connected to your suburban town's dope plugs?

Oh my fault. You said you didn't know anyone who sells heroin but you could get it no problem...?

In the 'burbs. Oh, do explain that one. Please explain that. Better yet. Go ahead. You have three hours to post a picture of a bag of dope in your hand. Happy hunting.

But I'll sit back and demur to you as you obviously know more aboot drugs and the game than I do.

What is with your big suburban vs hood thing? Huh? Jeez, was I dissing the suburbs? Living where I do, if you're gonna be serious one might as well go to the source - the city, right?

Hey, dude, I worked in a rehab. I saw everyone who first stepped foot in the place. Two people were legitimately hooked due to injury and subsequent prescription regiment.

Two people in three years. That's it. Oh sure, I saw plenty with prescriptions, but the truth was, they were already involved with drugs beforehand.

Hey, congrats, dude. You're the first to talk smack at me today. Kudos. Too bad the little anarchy army isn't around to chime in.

    Ah, man...

This reminds me of a time I got into it with that Doug dude.

I had just been banned (wow say it ain't so) for "Promoting Illegal Activities" (Drugs)

I come back on and right into a post supporting marijuana and alcohol abuse.

I pointed out that weed is illegal for the most part (and hey no one got banned) and that alcohol kills more people than all other drugs combined. That's all I said.

From that somehow, only God and Doug's church congregation know how, I was insulting Doug's friend who OD'd.

How he drew that connection is a complete mystery.

First of all, why would I bust on someone for doing the same shit I did? That doesn't make any sense. If it don't fit, you must acquit. I got(had) nothing but love for the fallen. Sheet, I now know more dead people than I do the living.

Yeah, I might be screwed up. A little off the wall, but I'm for real. Some people on here who may appear "normal" are way more confused and screwed up than I ever was. They live in a fantasy cyber world. For real, for real.

It would surprise some of you to realize that so many on here are just Internet personas. If anyone has doubted my "stories," again come spend a day with me. No, you fools, that isn't an invitation to pug. You'll have a great time if you ain't scared and uptight.

"Meet me at my beach" was never aboot fighting

    It was all aboot authenticity.

Oh and Bass Mon, I haven't seen the Legal Weed Thread.

So, sorry. Nice little theory, but like so much on the Internet, it ain't rooted in reality.

So, I guess it wasn't that ironic.
