    Scott McC is still surfing quite well, but a tad more laid back. Chummer is still one of my heroes, and is still able to paddle out in his mid 70s in clean HH surf (on an SUP, but with no paddle, he uses it as an extra volume LB).

    Once I was up in Salem, NH for "business" and I asked my buddy where I could go swim some laps. He dropped me off at the YMCA pool in Lawrence, MA, while he met some 'friends". There was a HUGE Baby Ruth bar floating in the pool. I just laughed and had to wait for him to show up, while I used my superpowers of invisibility to blend into the urban wasteland. Due to the thriving Dominican and El Salvadorean population, I was shocked! to find out "things" were cheaper there than in Miami (this was 1986).

    You have come a long way from hanging out under the boardwalk having conversations with dead seagulls to now being Jersey Royalty. No awnings, but my wife still cooks for me.
