That’s awesome, yet sad they have to do that.

If anyone would like to have a conversation about the pullout of talks with DPRK please feel free to respond.

If anyone would like to post articles from non-sense websites or homoerotic memes, please do as Uncle2Barrels says.

    I'll get the ball rolling....

Anyone read the president's letter to Kim? I'm having a hard time making heads or tails of this whole thing. He comes out saying the harsh rhetoric from DPRK derailed the talks.

From what I can tell, he had two folks on his staff going out and saying that we were going to do Kim just like we did Gaddafi. Didn't we learn from the Bolton thing that we should not mention Libya in relation to DPRK?

The meeting started to fall through when Kim said he wanted our troops to leave the Peninsula and would cancel the meeting if we didn’t. Then the comments from Bolton scared him. Trump tried to smoothe it over and said that’s not the plan and insured his safety, but there was no response I believe and is why it fell through.

This is a move to restart the negotiation. We already got prisoners back and they destroyed the testing site supposively so we got some of what we wanted. But they still have nukes and are ready to use them so it’s important this doesn’t get out of control. I believe this may end badly for N Korea, but it can still be resolved peacefully, after much posturing.

There's a reason no president, over the past decades, would talk to North Korea. There was a reason.

Hey, does that mean my coins are now worthless?

That letter isn't real is it? I hope not.

There is no way that letter was actually sent???

"Some day, i look very much forward to meeting you"

"I felt that a wonderful dialogue was building up between you and me, and ultimately, it is only that dialogue that matters"

It that letter actually got past the proofreaders, and "ultimately" only talking matters, then it may not be such a bad thing that the summit is cancelled.

    Say what you want but...

"We express our willingness to sit down face-to-face with the U.S. and resolve issues anytime and in any format," North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan said on Friday, according to the outlet, citing the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

This after the letter was received. This is all a dance to get to the end result. Sometimes you have to say certain things to get a certain reaction.

It was sent alright. It's out for everyone to read...including the NOKO leader.

Yeah...i was just struck by the 8th grade english-as-second-language writing style.

But hey, DP could be totally on-point about this being a dance to get the end result. Tricking Kim Jong Un into thinking U.S. negotiators are illiterate, they bring english teachers to the summit instead of treaty negotiators. Mike Pence pops up from under the table, compares NOKO to Khadaffi and Libya and the whole Korean delegation freaks out and gives up the farm. Shrewd, and nobel peace prize-worthy!

The letter was written by Trump, so that he knew it was from HIM and not some nobody at the State Department or whatever. You understood exactly what he meant and so did Kim. Clown his grammar all you want but let the results speak for themselves. When he ends the NOKO nuclear threat, one way or the other, it will be a big day for the entire world.

That's funny and made me think of something. My girl likes to raz me when we go out to eat to Mexican or Thai and our server is speaking English as second Language. She says I always slow down and over simplify my speech when ordering. I didn't realize I was doing it lol.

I think the summit was going to be ineffectual. NOKO can't be trusted

I use the mirror technique. I can suddenly sound Asian, Mexican, Indian, or whatever the case might be. It helps them understand me lol
