I’m 37 years old, listen to plenty of old school punk, but saying anything after 1990 is Emo garbage is where you lost all credibility. Typical “I’m more core than you” mentality that most poseurs have. You missed out on a lot of good punk music if you stopped in 1990. I’m at 15k posts because I have the time to post and surf every day if I so choose. Plus, who’s going to check all the moron Johnny come lately’s when they decide to have an “opinion”.
You have Punk and then You have Hardcore. (My Opinion... don't give a fuck if it's shitty or not) Favorite Punk Album is Ramones, Rocket to Russia. My Favorite Hardcore Album is Black Flag, Damaged. Even though this is only an opinion, everyone on this here postin' site knows I'm right.
Well I was on here 4 years before you so who is a "Johnny come lately"? I think you're an unemployed emo nerd... Punk was dead past the 90's.... Blink 182 isn't punk get over it.
I agree. Difference between hardcore and punk. Hardcore fan..... not really a punk fan. But whoever that guy DP is arguing with is right about one thing.....cromags- age of quarrel. One of my favorite albums ever.
I have a life and a job and I travel to surf... I don't live in a trailer-mecca cent Florida and post 15k times thinking i'm king shit surfer... BTW cent Florida isn't known for much more than Larry the cable guy and every third version of COPS... You're a hick-Present tense.
Yep if you were lucky enough to have seen them live it was kick-ass... I've seen just about all the 80's punk bands...... Bad Brains, Cro-Mags, Fugazi, Slapshot, agnostic front, etc... Fun times and good music before it blew up... Had friends roadie for CroMags and my friend Grant drums for HR now....
I said my bad for fighting on Blasters thread so I won't keep it going any longer. Here's a short list of some of the bands who were putting out some quality stuff in the 90's... Guttermouth, Pennywise, The Vandals, Bad Religion, NOFX, Rancid, Lagwagon, Strungout, Avail, Bouncing Souls, Face to Face, No Use For a Name, Descendents, Agnostic Front, Bigwig, Good Riddance (there are more). I've seen all of these bands at least once or multiple times in some cases. Some great shows, too many to count, definitely in the hundred range. Some of these guys are still going strong!
