So im 5'8", 126lbs and im looking for a nice shorftboard. I want something loose and fast. Ive looked at some boards from different shapers, but do you guys recomend anything
al merrick pod is sick, im 6' 165 and i ride the 5'10'' and its amazing. for you id definitely go 5'6'' or 5'7''
go with a 5'7-5'9 quad. Quads are really awesome in my opinion. The pod is sick too, but its like +500 ........ I couldnt really tell you a specific shape/brand cuz it all depends on how good you are. But most people like tri's
Well what are you riding now ???? If you make a drastic change in board size it will take you a while to get use to it .

I would recommend staying between 5"9' to 6"2' if you are an experienced surfer. Channel Islands Surfboards make some great boards, they put alot of effort into design, plus they provide some good web tutorials on their boards which will give you a better understanding of surfboard designs.
